Sr has its place. Just not so much with randoms. For guild runs i always liked epgp

If only there was a loot system that rewarded consistent participation, and could also be used with pugs.

It also rewards rmting the most

Hahaha right. The scrubs got GDKP banned over a bogey man… RMT is worse than ever… botting is worse than ever… and now complaining about SR needing to be banned :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Let’s ban symptoms instead of causes.

Yeah the symptom is gdkps reward rmt more than any other loot system

Fantastic job pointing out why that system is banned. If playing the game isn’t reward enough then this game isn’t for you.

Why is SR bad?

SR is one of the best loot systems that exists.

How does it reward participation you

You mean participating in swiping. How many swipes per day you get .

Because that’s the only thing GDKP rewards.

ban sr? lets just remove /roll from the game and use retails personal loot system cause that sounds terrible

SR is a good loot system.

It’s fair to pugs and guildies alike, as each raid member has an equal fair chance at obtaining their item if it drops.

Sometimes the guildie wins the roll, and sometimes the pug wins the roll. That’s working as intended.

If you don’t want pugs winning loot ever, then you better be able to fill the raid with full guildies and just use epgp.

I personally don’t think it’s a bad thing when a pug wins loot on /roll. If anything, this is just a prime recruitment opportunity to demonstrate the inclusiveness of your guild.

The worst thing about all the"SR Guilds" I have come across is they aren’t 100% SR, always some rules in place like, “The MT gets X, Y, Z items first because it will help their threat” and just by chance its always the GM or Lead Officer. Then the other few main officers have the same rules for their key items. It’s always LC rules basically until the officers get what they want and then it goes SR. But I am not saying it’s always that way just my experience with “SR”. Best non GDKP method I’ve experienced is like EPGP/DKP. Save your points get an item.

Because 100% SR is dumb.

Of course some things will be reserved for specific people who are founders of the guild or do way more work than you do for the guild.

Expecting 100% SR just means you have no real life experiences and don’t understand social situations.

ya they called it DKP

Sure some things I get it. I was just stating my experience with SR. And in a 20+ year old beat game there isn’t much to be done. There’s no strats to figure out, some simple healing and tanking assignments. Creating the roster takes 10 minutes especially if you have a reliable roster and if you don’t and your run is good people will be lining up to fill. But I do understand that doing those things people are going to want some payment for their time. But again from my experience it’s been more than an item or 2 its been the GM gets basically everything first and the couple officers below them as well. The GM warrior is always gonna get TF first the Officer caster is always gonna get Atiesh first I get that.
I like your assumptions of my real life experiences though thanks for your totally accurate assumptions.
