Not being able to change the exteriors of houses that people actually spent money on is not cool. Give us options please.

Have they gotten back to you at all? CS just keeps telling me to post on the forums. They’ve given no indication of being willing to refund the $$ spent.

People bought, and used the Treehouse exteriors.
Now they are unable to. It’s pretty straight forward.
In my case, I saved my Treehouse exterior blueprint before checking out the barns i just bought.
When i went re-apply my treehouse, it said I couldn’t.
When I then just tried to apply it fresh, I found the option missing entirely.
I would post a picture, but Blizzard won’t let me.
So buying the barn exterior replaced your treehouse, got it.
So far blizzard customer service is saying there’s nothing they can do, and they aren’t willing to refund the coin spent on the treehouse.
They just say to post on the forums.
Has anything ever been fixed when people posted on the forums?
Yeah because the “hearthsteel” isn’t real money even though you spent real money to get it, that’s legal talk for we screwed you with play money so your purchases with it are protected from refunds.
The only thing they can do is rework the ui window to have both the barns and treehouses show up in the dropdown menu, but that can’t be done via a hotfix because both of them take up the same slot in the menu. At the earliest would be the next 12.1.5 patch and I doubt they will even do that. They also aren’t going to tell or warn players not to buy the treehouse while the bug persists.

Sometimes, if you actually post in customer support.
That part is just full on BS.
It shouldn’t be up to players to warn players. And even when you post a warning, unless you repost it and constantly reply to it, it get’s burried within a day under posts by people arging about when or if flight should be in the game. It’s insane.

I have the treehouse, bought it soon after it hit the shop.
Leveled my to 12. No options on pull-down menu.
This forum post saved me from trying out the barn facade.

Of course they haven’t. They have the money now. What is the incentive. That was a LOT of money too. I wouldn’t have spent it if I had know you couldn’t change the looks how you wanted to….
Edit: I guess I was complaining at something far less consequential than you are. I was complaining that it was a LOT of money to find out you can’t change the features of the outside or inside (roof, wall, ceiling, floor, windows, etc.). I am sorry you are having that issue. Did it ever resolve for any of you?

Are there treehouses out there that are NOT having issues with level 12 housing? I know…I know, the only ones not having issues are the ones still in their box, in the shop.
12.1.5 ptr is up, you can check if they fixed the issue. I can’t test it for you as I don’t have the tree houses.

I checked and it’s still the same.
Also, the barn facade is static. When I select it to either move or turn, it reds out. Only ONE spot for the barn.
I’m afraid to go inside, I might not be able to open the door all the way to get back out! It has consumed the plot.
Edit: I have this stubborn idea that some stuff, especially new to game stuff, should be tool-tipped IN game!
You have a complaint or problem…advice is to take it to the forum, where they can roast you. It’s like they are short-cutting a lot of bugs/complaints via the forums.

I’m pretty sure if it would have affect everyone who bought a tree house, Blizzard would have already fixed the issue. Blizzard is super slow when it comes to bugs that only effect some players.
