Sporecloak nerf

Yeah, i get that. I just checked logs all the time from my other guild healers who made one. Over the course of about a month, there weren’t even outlier situations where it would have been worth it to have. It always felt like everyone made one because it was popular instead of actually looking at how effective it was.

The layer of insurance can let you figure out where you can push your optimizations. I, personally, used Voice once I finally got it, but people that frequently died (such as dying a lot in P1 Sark) were forced to make it. We had discussed it a lot internally, and some situations it was very helpful, such as people repeatedly getting the same heavy-hitting mechanics.

It was useful for things like Rashok’s P3 slams, or Echo’s Ebon/Umbral Destructions. The cooldown was also fairly short when you consider most fights ran over the 6 minute mark.

Oh yay my favourite survivability boost for my lil Monk just got nerfed into the ground best news ever /s

Welp no idea what I’m gonna replace it with whatsoever probably something super boring and lame that provides an rng stat boost.

i’m all for balance passes, but his is a gutting. Lariet was still bis for a lot of classes if you had all the gems slots

Because they want you to buy wow tokens to afford crafting the new ones that require super rare and expensive mats.

Blizz needs to take a hard look at why the sporecloak was so good this season. If they weren’t throwing out one shots in every M+ trash pack we wouldn’t see everyone wearing the sporecloak.

This is of course the intention.

Happens every patch, nothing new to see here.

Except this isn’t an item from the previous season. It’s a crafted embellishment that is meant to still be relevant just like all the other ones.

Sporecloak was entirely just by itself the difference between surviving a big hit or dying a lot of the time, and in case you missed it being dead reduces your dps to 0. That being said I can only advocate for its use on prog, if you were using it on farm or in crappy 20s then you were part of the problem that made blizzard torch this thing to ash.

I was okay with the first nerf but the second one was a bit too much.

I don’t know why they are nerfing crafted items however they nerfed raid items because they don’t want you to feel compelled to run an old raid to be competitive in the new raid. Think they went a little overboard on some things but I do get the idea.

Nerfing things now is ideal, keep up the balancing, SMASH augmentation, and get all the balancing done well before the season starts. Hunters could use a ton of help with survivability especially with this nerf, MM should get a lust without a pet. Rshams could get some passive DR of some sort. Demo lock could use some more base haste.

“Evergreen, Evergreen, Evergreen, Evergreen, yeah we’re doing more Evergreen content, did we mention Evergreen?”

“Oh by the way, your loot won’t even last 2 seasons”

“Evergreen, Evergreen, Evergreen, Evergreen, Evergreen…”

I think you contradicted yourself. Doing 20s is prog for a lot of people, like 90% of the playerbase?? Lol? What a snob!

Not me wearing a sporecloak

Sporecloak is great for public content still imo.

Hey remember when loot was only relevant in the season that dropped it? Why are we complaining about this?
