(Spoiler)Vault of the Incarnates cinematic

This would be a very interesting twist, Chromatus actually helping the flights… truly unexpected, from the normal Raid Filler Boss. I always love Chromatus concept in WoW, it has so much potential beyond a raid boss…(IMO)
Also a great opportunity to tie all lose ends with all other remnant of the offshoots flights left in BC, Cata, MoP, Legion…ect. (IMO)

She doesn’t. All four incarnates have unique models.

to the world bosses that use the generic models

On another note, I have to wonder if the writing team even remember Chromatus is in lore storage. I’d love to see the chromatic and nether flights show up considering how long it’s been since they’ve done anything.

Twilight just got a cameo in BFA so I’m not too worried about them.

I like the models of the other Incarnates. They’re unique enough to seperate them from the other elemental infused proto drakes

What’s funny is that Jaina and Lor’themar did the same with Azshara as she was struggling to breathe.

anyway, for the topic at hand. It does seem Blizzard is either going to bring back Galakrond or Iridikron will become another Galakrond. Given that the Gnolls on the Dragon Isles are experimenting with Decay magic, after Wratheye found the means to harness it. She also escapes so she might return later on in the expansion.

The second cutscene definitely implies Iridikron being the final boss. Combined with an earlier scene talking about his hunger, pretty confident in him becoming Galakrond 2.

In Dawn of the Aspects there was actually a character, Coros, who wanted to get on Galakrond’s good side and become like him. I wonder if it will turn out Iridikron was part of Coros’s group, though I think that’s unlikely.

“Irridikron truly embraced the war. The last captured and most difficult to contain.” - Nozdormu

“He struck terrible bargains to keep their cause alive, his violent desperation makes him dangerous, I believe the other incarnates never knew the true depths of his depravity.” - Alexstraza

I don’t see any reality this expansion doesn’t end with Old Gods like BFA did.

You’re probably right but it’s so obnoxious. God forbid Blizzard have an original villain for once. They always have to fall back on the same thing over and over again. What was the point of “We’re finally free of the old gods!” in BFA if they’re just going to fall back on their usual and go “oooh how shocking the old gods did it once again for the hundredth time!” now?

I’m holding out hope that the bargain was with Galakrond somehow and the Old Gods aren’t actively involved. I know I’ll just be disappointed in the outcome though.

Irridikron doesn’t have the wee little dangly arms and this is an outrage.

Very unlikely since Galakrond ate them.

100% agree with this. Its why I’m hoping that this bargain was with something else.

Same. I was hoping it was someone like ragnaros or someone similar that just wants see everything burn

Nah, it is for sure a deal with the Void in some form. Just taking the new old god whispers into account he definitely did something like that.

“You will follow him to the deep places. The dark waters will flow in his wake.”

Dark waters as in, void infused wellspring water.

It will not surprise me if he goes full Galakrond and eats his own siblings.

I am also wondering if these Dark Waters might hold the key to how we get Murozond. Who knows what that do to a dragon if they somehow consumed or were submerged in it.

“With many eyes, they will see again. They will drink, and be uplifted.”

This is true but I do think what’s happening is they are wraping up all the Elemental, Void, Light, Titan and Dragon Aspects (Morozod and his Infinite Flight among other remnants flights Included) Drama up… in this story to make way for a new story, new Characters and new lore.

At least I like to think its that, since its the only really old lore that hasn’t been touch and we only knew it to be in Azeroth Past History (I think?)

And if my suspicious happens to be right… then I think I be ok if we touch on the Void once more to FINALLY kick it out of Azeroth like we did the Legion, so we can focus on…er… whatever Zovaal was so paranoid about, that he did…whatever he did that put the balance of life and death in danger…for…um… whatever reason?

Yeah lets just focus on DF to open for new lore and stories for us to play on if its set to rap up these old threads of the lore… lol

“From the Earth he draws strength. Our Earth, our strength…” - Il’gynoth the Heart of Corruption

I’m really hoping this is what comes to fruition. We’ve been teased with the Black Empire and old god whispers in the quest chain and Iridikron has been known to make “terrible bargains to achieve victory”, and the Primal Incarnates absolutely hate everything Titan.

IDK, Dragonflight got me going back to these whispers. Another one is “the boy king serves at the master’s table. Three lies he will offer you.”

Like, this is the third time we’ll be going down this path with Wrathion, who is hanging with the aspects…

I LOVE THIS.
