The Void is nothing. The Void seeks to corrupt, not destroy, anything that treads its path.
Obviously, you can’t exactly corrupt something if it’s already dead. You COULD… but in a futile attempt.

Cosmological storytelling is so bloody dumb.
Joe the Knight vs the kinda sentinent Black Hole.
Don’t worry, he has the ribbons of relativity. He can use them to destroy the black hole and loot the gravitanial lenses. With them, he can see through the dark matter and is able to recognise the actual concept of reality. It’s a multidimensional hexateron. Imagine a four-sided tetrahedron internally extruded to form a multidimensional solid with twenty planes of existence, fifteen transitory pathways, and six vertices where interferon patterns create monopolar expressions of cosmic forces. You see, singular energy types are unstable according to Ogdaen’s law, and thus they bind to one or more secondary elements. This is also part of the Jailers Plan btw… He kinda wanted to fix that, because you can’t divide this cosmos by zero.

Grounded expansions don’t work anymore. Like everyone is now confused that Dimensius is the final boss.
As the old saying goes, correlation does not equal causation. As a fun little side note, Xal goes “I am sure you do” in a mocking way to Ve’nari’s pronunciation that she knows what the void fears.
Likely, what the void feared was the Jailer’s plan more then the Maw or Death itself. Had the Jailer’s plan worked, all realms, including void itself, would have been under the Jailer’s control.

Death is the end of possibilities. And the Void needs the mortal realm otherwise they can’t consume matter anymore.

Or the Void panicked at the Red Eyes and Black Tendrils of Sylvanas because it knew what that represented.
If we see those same Red Eyes and Black Back Tendrils coming out of Xal’atath as she claims the Dark Heart and reveals “Xal’atath has been dead for years ever since she drained me out of the Sword in Silithus! I merely used the Souls of the Naga to hide my true nature!” then I won’t be surprised as it is a repeat of the statement she used for Drenden.
I also won’t be surprised if she subsequently reveals that Frostmourne “Was given a piece of myself just as the Sword I shoved in Silithus was as part of the agreement with the Nathrezim which is why my corruption was inside Sylvanas” then reveals “Sargeras has been dead for years ever since I left him in Aegwynn’s Body after possessing Medivh leaving Aegwynn’s Soul inside the Tomb of Sargeras deluded into thinking herself an Echo while also leaving her alongside Sargeras’s Avatar” thus cluing us in to Pelagos’s identity.
Considering Sargeras’s voice actor I’m expecting a Marvel Comics Shared Universe/DC Comics Shared Universe deal(I.E. Amon is the Big Bad of WoW and Diablo).
its the truth the math doesnt math for that narrative and im tired of it being prodded around like its true.
