Oh, well, nevermind, I donāt know what Zenās issue with it was then if you could quit at any time.
I donāt feel like you use a character you love to burn Darnassus. But maybe they werenāt prepared for the fan reaction.

Itās not that you can quit at any time, itās that there are a few outs across the chain. In the final stage, you get an āoutā when you fight Eitrigg.
Of course if you donāt take it, and then go talk to him after it all, he forgives you lmao.
With the love/darnassus thing, I guess writers love their villains, too, and Danu-san definitely does.
Given that Iām almost 100% sure the conversation that spawned that abysmal story decision went something like āWouldnāt it be cool if the Horde burned down Teldrassil?ā
Iām really not sure I can agree
Hey.
What do you even do with an Old God once youāve enslaved it? Like, you probably already destroyed the rest of the world to get to that point so clearly you canāt conquer it again.
Go after other worlds?
My issue with it is- why do you even get the option to canonically be suicidal and want to destroy the world for no reason after you just saved it a year ago? Why is that even a choice?
Is it THAT crazy that I think thatās dumb?
WoW ends with Sylvanas on Nāzothās back as it flies into space. āWhere shall we invade first?ā
Sylvanas smiles wickedly. āSet courseā¦ for Earth.ā Dramatic music plays, fade to black.
Please donāt feed into Danuserās wet dreams Zen
Remember that Earth does exist in the WoWverse. Thereās a little girl in Outland who says sheās from Englandā¦on a land known for having multiple dimensional portals opened.
Omg what??? Iāve never seen this before
Hold up, what??? Why have I never seen or heard of this??
Because sheās some child npc in the middle of nowhere that you have to interact with to get a specific set of dialogue.
I donāt recall if sheās a reference or not.
Not that any of that invalidates anything, just that itās such an easily missed, oft forgotten / ignored tidbit.
This is the NPC for the curious
That option is for Sylvanas fans. Youāre clearly not the target demographic.
It may be for Sylvanas fans, but logically it doesnāt make sense, especially if you are not a Forsaken character. Even then itās suspect. I get it, itās nice to have options for people, but the option really makes no sense when Sylvanas straight up says her goal is to kill everyone, including you.
Are Forsaken/Sylvanas fans actually enjoying being turned to supervillain henchmen plotting their own deaths?
I mean a lot of people enjoyed playing SWTOR empire, the problem is Blizzard sucks at writing nuanced villains so it wouldnāt be nearly as fun as SWTOR empire.
It is kinda of insane that Bioware manages to make literal Space N&@is more nuanced and enjoyable Blizzard has with Sylvanas and the Horde.

This is a really minor issue compared to the normal story complaints because it doesnāt effect anything. Itās just a cutscene tacked on for Sylvanas fans. It would be like something tacked onto the end of Legion where you get to chill with Sargeras in titan prison.
Which again makes no sense. Iām not complaining that it is there, I am glad it is because more options are better. Always. Itās just one of those options that makes you go what? Like how can anyone justify their character siding with Sylvanas after hearing her say that? Unless they are suicidal or insane.
