I wouldnāt be planning for a Sylv raid or expac against her leading the dead yet ā they still have plenty of room to āsurpriseā and disappoint us further.
Does anyone else feel like Zekhanās armor is going to be the base for Troll heritage armor?
The biggest + for me is the fact that this has confirmed Iāve been right for the past 15 years while everyoneās called me crazy. Whoās the crazy one now?! Also; Thank you Saurfang for what Iāve been telling people for the pastā¦ howeverlongitsbeen.
But seriously; Blizzardās cinematics are amazing. But I feel like parts of it were unintentionally funny. Not that this is a bad thing, but Sylvanas just flying off and leaving that one forsaken outside infront of an armyā¦ just standing there. Awkwardly.
So the cinematic was gorgeous and amazingly crafted as usual.
However I was watching the cinematic again and it struck me just how much I could not care less that Saurfang died.
Its this big sad moment watching them carry him into Org and I felt absolutely nothing.
Me too. In the questline, Jaina and Thalyssra mention that itās not like a magic theyāve ever seen before and they also couldnāt detect it on her. They mentioned that it was either a power she recently acquired, or something that she waited until now to reveal. So we still donāt know what exactly it was.
I enjoyed it. I felt pretty hyped after that speech only to see Saurfang yote by a death bolt. [F] Was pretty awesome to see him dual wielding and then pulling apart Shalymane at the end.
It was probably the greatest overall outcome they couldāve had, mostly because it ended the faction war (Hopefully forever or at least for a long while).
I didnāt mind any of the writing, the characters seemed largely in place to me as far as I was concerned and dare I say overall this ending can be placed into the āstuff that is good from BFAā pile.
Sylvanas walking out of the gates of Orgrimmar after Saurfang issues the Makāgora had some parallels to the Wrathgate. From a united force of Horde and Alliance, its champions at the gates issuing the challenge, and a Saurfang dying.
The clanking sounds of the gate opening in both scenes add to this. And possibly in my imagination, the music that plays as Arthas appears is similar as well.
So who is war chief now?
Pls be Anduin
My reaction to the war campaignās ending:
āAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHā
- Sarestha, 2019
Can I quote you on that in the future? This will make a stunning commentary in the Orgrimmar Times.
As a Forsaken since Nillaā¦
I agree, the Horde is Nothing.
Pretty much when we rolled that toon it was mentioned in game that we (Forsaken) are playing a waiting game. So the whole Undead doing a shocked nod seems out of place.
Then I did the eavesdrop mission and yeah I fear that they are pushing the/a new leadership that makes no sense in anything we have done in game now. Lauren Newcomb Has more name recognition and bearing on the Forsaken than what ever in the 'ell Blizz smoked up.
And it looks like the Horde is down a leader and a lore character, alliance get Twin swords and made an appearanceā¦
So, in doing the loyalist side of the missions (I wont do the disloyal side none of my toons would) its mentioned that āI saw Coffinspike speaking to the warchiefā
Now clearly my toon would not speak directly to her at best I would speak to one of her Dark Rangers or have been seen at the night of long knifes, maybe a rally, but not High Tea with Command, So going forward as a war criminal (our side lostā¦again) What then does this mean for the toon?
Yeah at this point I am ready to sail all my Undeads off to the Azaroth Argentina and live out my years after the war.
My data coverage is so bad here and hotel wifi is unreliable it took me 30 minutes to load the cinematic and its mostly OK but the memes coming out of it are very good
Oh my God. Who writes this garbage?
At least Varok got the manly death he wanted or whatever.
Iām so disappointed.
I liked this - they didnāt crap out and actually had her double down on her narcissistic psychopathy, which isnāt something I was expecting. Between her snap decisions at Teldrassil and now Orgrimmar, pretty clear her elevator donāt reach the penthouse no more 'cuz itās getting pretty rickety at Windrunner Tower.
Just saying.
Im not sure I agree. Sure Vanilla made a point of saying it was an alliance of convenience but one, weāre a long way since Vanilla and two, it would be kind of boring if every single Forsaken was the same exact hive mind. Seems very possible that there would be Forsaken that feel loyalty towards the Horde and not just Sylvanas.
The problem with āWe are a long way off since Vanillaā argument/side of things isā¦
āWhen have we not been doing something that āisā in our own (Forsaken) interestā Each and every xpac we have been working on some great plague or up spur towards our living friends, And conversely where have they written/scenario anything that shows the Forsaken giving a witt about āhordeā business?
That whole Makārall thing is really getting over played almost the only go-to they seem to have (They being the writers)
Going even further can you show me where anyone in the Alliance did any kind of mission thatās along the lines of āHey lets go see what Dead Uncle Joe is doing, you remember Uncle Joe, heās the one who was afraid to cut the cakeā (he ran off to fire lake )
So every bit as much as the
If every single Forsaken wasā¦ Bit goes they (Blizzard) Should at least put in a smige of the lore as we can easily remember, it cant be that hard.
Also, how folks RP there characters thatās on them, I have seen a few good reasons why they are not all about the Sylvie and most of those are late to the party Forsaken, ābornā well after nilla in xpac terms and so the back story they crafted is very different than those of us who were scourge born.
And who is going to be āWell were all friends now come on Forsaken guys your okay with usā
This just suffers due to poor writing.
ā¦.
And going on this line, how things are now (badly written/explained/glossed over) Tyrandie its not looking so good for you either.
As well as its good to see the Alliance showed up to do?
Last we saw everyone was at TB, then we cut to a broken alliance tower in?? And then we see all this equipment infront of Org, how did it all get there?
Things feel rushed on top of the bad āstoryā
Also remember that Sylvanas has been raising many, many forsaken that werenāt part of the original group starting since Cataclysm. There are probably plenty that bought into the Horde as a whole starting from then even if we assume that the original Forsaken never would have (which I donāt buy, personally). Of course, thereās some heavily implied brainwashing in a lot of those instances, but big shrug, Iāve also been told sylvanas never brainwashed anyone so I donāt actually know where that stands.
The forsaken as a whole have been working alongside the Horde for years. Some even joined the Argent Crusade. One was in the Argent Dawn from vanilla. The Desolate Council was happy to set down arms with the Alliance and Sylvanas killed them all, but itās easy to assume she didnāt stamp out all resistance - that act probably grew more of it, too.
This is a valid claim. Though it also presupposes that even the Forsaken were too dumb to see what Sylvanas was doing.
Which, I guess, would put them on the same page as 90% of Azeroth.
Also loving all the people saying horde will attack again.
Mmm, totally gathering that from the growing dissent in Alliance guys. Yep, Horde aggression will totally be what kicks off next war.
