Personally, I loved it! It was nice to see both sides not only acknowledging the past, but actually doing things to mend the rifts even if itâs painful. And the Horde, man⊠I just want to give everyone over there a big olâ hug after all that. Share some drinks at the local tavern, order some BBQ. Zappyboi and company kinda need it after all that.
My most favorite moment, I think, was Saurfang splitting Shalamayneâdefinitely did not see that coming and that only other person able to do that(to my knowledge) was Varian.

Next expansion- World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Thirsty Nerds

Sylvanas gloating while Saurfang was on the ground was kinda dumb. So was when she randomly proclaimed she hates all of us and weâre worthless piles of dung and then just⊠flies away.
I think everyone else was alright to good in this cinematic except for her. But I guess they had to sacrifice someoneâs character to end this story and Sylvanas was the best option.
Also, no Tyrande. What a surprise.

They already did that when she torched Teldrassil, though.

In Sylvanasâ defense, sheâs a literal psychopath without empathy, and violent angry outbursts arenât that uncommon for people like that.
Frankly itâs more unrealistic that she held it together this long.
With her pattern of behavior, itâs shocking she wasnât screaming âANTS. ANTS IN MY BLOOD. I SEE THEM! THEY SCREAM FOR RELEASE!â At random intervals.

Both true. I guess Iâm just not a big fan of the trope where the hero fights the villain and the villain slaps them around, but then the hero cares really hard and lands a blow.

I think youâre mixing up Psycopath and Schizophrenic there, Zen.
People can be two things.
I canât believe she just screeches and files away, again.

Weâre 2 for 2 with big villains just immediately running off-screen between her and Nâzoth this expansion.

Also: new concern. With us now focusing our fight on Nâzoth, Iâm a little worried that weâre a patch short of an expansion. Which could mean Nâzoth and Nyâalotha will be a patch and not an expansion.
If we fight an Old God for a patch and then go to an expansion of Sylvanas returning with an army of the dead from the Shadowlands or something I might blow a gasket. WoD 2.0 but with undead instead of orcs.

Itâs what she does. Besides, her plan for two major armies to weaken each other so badly that they couldnât stand against Nâzoth just fell through, so now sheâs gotta hit the bricks and figure out what to do next.
It was neat how Saurfang was on the cusp of realizing the flaws of himself and the Horde.

Sylvanas is the popular high school girl who blurts something out at a party and storms off, never to lead the cheerleading squad again⊠but might still show up with an answer key to the SATs
Quality was good, content meh. I saw Anduin in the preview of the vid and got baited lmao.
We donât get to hide.
Sylvanas is one screeching flying away from performing a full on villain laugh. You know the one.

So how long until Thrall starts complaining about Sylvanas cheating at Makâgora?
To me, Sylvanas felt a lot like Lucius Malfoy at the end; crass and cowardly. She even flew away in the Death Eater trademark smoke, which I think has been new for her as of BFA. I was also surprised by her random laser death bolt spell.
In any case, I found the NPC dialogue that takes place throughout Orgrimmar in the aftermath very interesting. My only hope is it does not make RP more challenging for the Horde going forward.

Donât worry, most of us have done this before.

Saurfangâs death made me literally LOL because it felt so abrupt, but it will never top Illidan blowing up Xeâra.
Overall the cinematic was visually lovely, but didnât inspire much feeling in me. Just like the entire expansion!
