Basically what this sounds like to me is that Death is outside of time therefore everyone is technically “dead already” and would already be in the Shadowlands. It’s like someone dying in real life and when they wake up in the afterlife all their family is there even the ones who they left behind alive on earth. It is an idea I am not fond of.
