Blizzard I am begging you to understand the importance of upholding your races’ foundational themes, fantasies and iconic elements instead of always sacrificing them on the altar of “this is the story we want to tell”
This is as much your IP as it is ours at this point and you cannot do stuff like that again and again and again
Also there is a rampant tone issue that you’re gonna have to address at some point. It doesn’t have to be rainbows and friendship and mending ties all the time. Ideological strife is okay. Divide is okay. Conflict is not always a problem to be solved. A splintered people ought not always to be reunified. Racial fantasies in a fictional setting are meant to reinforce player expression and these identities also exist through opposition.
This is getting frankly tiring.
Interesting that this does kind of have put all six cosmic forces in the well in the end.
Arcane - Well of Eternity (+ Arcan’dor + Moonwell)
Death - Kel’Thuzad’s remains and the Urn of Terenas (and the whole reason Kael’thas blew up the Sunwell since it was killing the people connected to it)
Fel - Kil’jaeden
Light - M’uru (+ Vanguard of the Light)
Void - Void Well (+ Void Crystal)
Nature - Arcan’dor and Moonwell
The Sunwell was also reignited using energy siphoned from the Twisting Nether so Kil’jaeden could try to come through. Originally that was arcane back in Burning Crusade, but then Chronicle tied the Twisting Nether to the demons, so I don’t know what to make of that.
OH IT IS tiring, but they seem obesesed with more if tis bad irl it shouldnt be in fantasy either !

I don’t like this at all. Why Night Elves should help the Blood Elves and the Horde to protect the Sunwell when the same guys destroyed their capital, slaughtered them without difference and devastated a great part of their lands. I don’t remember the Blood Elves, the Nightborne and the Horde helped the Night Elves to heal their devasted lands or do something to help them after the War of the Thorns or in the future. I find it’s pretty indecent to do this.
Also, it’s great to see Nightborne remember Blood Elves helped them to save them and Suramar from the Burning Legion but nothing for the Night Elves who did exactly the same thing, not even a word or an action from Thalyssra or a single Nightborne about this since the War of the Thorns.

Also why Night Elves are here? Sunwell is about the Light so paladins and priests using the Holy Light. Night Elves aren’t paladins (except one), Night Elf priests use the Light of Elune, not the Holy Light and Night Elves believe in Elune, not the Holy Light
I guess it’s to justify the void elves being able to visit the sunwell now too.
If they wanted to balance power of the Well, they should’ve sacrifice half of M’uru energy to repair any damage caused by Xal. If the Light part gonna calmed down, the VE presence wouldn’t affect it. This would also restore some of the Arcane aesthetic. Doing that we could also get rid of the Lightbloom and Lightblinded rage problems caused by the bubbling Sunwell.
It sounds dumb and cheesy like the ending of the Amirdrassil raid but I think some people in this thread are overreacting a tad. Again like to the ending of the Amirdrassil raid lol.
