Explosives don’t have a balance they can hit that will work. They just need to stop investing in this affix and pick something else.
Also, Incorporeal just isn’t going to work out. They need to seriously go back to the drawing board with that. Immune to AOE CC??? LOL who had this idea?
Afflicted needs to show up in some kind of party or boss frame. I refuse to completely re-arrange my playstyle to add my heals to my bars. Every healer has moved to some form of click-casting. The current implementation is dumb.

Incorporal seems to be based on that “I want to use hard CC” philosophy.
Banish, fear, poly, trap, hex, hibernate, shackle, cyclone, etc.
They made them all creature types for a reason.
It and afflicted and explosive could all use their spawns reduced though. Imo their spawn rate shouldn’t scale with pull size. Just 1-2 at a time every X(ish) seconds in combat.

Nah, I still use mouse-overs, which will make the affix easy (unless more than 1 spawn every 8 seconds).
But they should show up on some sort of frames, but I doubt they’ll do it.
The biggest thing about these affixes will be how often they show up. Afflicted/Incorpreal having 1 in each group won’t be bad, but if Blizz does more, then S2 might be DoA.
that’s fine for you, but they added first-party support for click-casting. Abandoning that is not something they need to force through with a new affix.
My vote is boss frame. I sincerely don’t need my party frames stretching awkwardly for an entire week.
Or some demon hunter flies in like Randy Orton when you’re trying to do the mechanic. Dh/monk players always seem to find themselves under my mouse for no reason.

I don’t know anything about their codebase - but they’ve got it so that smart-heals don’t hit the afflicted (so like Renewing Mist jumps, Wild Growth, Chain Heal, etc).
Maybe that means they cannot be in the party? Not sure, but something needs to change.
The game has a specific class of unit that’s “totem”, they just have to remove that Tag. Add “boss” to it. At the same time, as a radiance enjoyer, I’d hate for 1 or 2 of my aoe atonements to random mobs when I’m trying to clear a hyrja style check.
