Him just dropping dead on the ground (as Garrosh should of), with a death rattle would be the most satisfying thing. This is why it more than likely will end in a “I’ll get you next time Gadget!” flee.
Or he tries to get away and our character just hits him REALLY hard in the head.
I’m expecting a twist (or a writer’s poor attempt at a twist). He’s going to be like, “I can never forgive Sylvannas for mind controlling me” or something and end up as an agent against Sylvannas.
However, I do suspect that Sylvannas (while being a certain level of despicable evil) might not be without a legit purpose. Suppose we get into SL and find out that life after death has become corrupted by say, an old god. And Sylvannas was actually trying to flood the afterlife with souls so when she ripped it open she could build an army to kill the bad guys there. Also, I imagine that she had to make a pretty big deal with the Jailer to get back out of the afterlife a second time. My guess is she’s trying to find a way to avoid paying up.
I wouldn’t mind that but I’m sure Blizz will have him be a lackey and die so he ends up feeding The Maw. It’s the ultimate simp move on his part.
I think it’d be even funnier if he tries to run away and just runs into a wall while we watch.
Sylvanas is going to show up, stun all of us. Power him up to his new form/powers to put on display and team rocket out again.
I doubt that. The reason being is he was a Farstrider in life. He’s literally the WoW equiv to special forces. Tripping and dying in that manner wouldn’t live up to the lore.
I’m picturing something like Firelands Heroic where Rag tries to scurry off and Cenarius is just like “LOL NOPE”. Except with Tyrande, and lots of arrows and moonlasers.
I mean, it’s not going to happen but it’d be hilarious to see. Besides, it’s not like being special forces makes you perfect, especially when you’ve just got the crap kicked out of you.
If you really want a reason make it a hidden door a la Scooby Doo that we locked without him knowing.
Sylvannas isn’t the type to share power. She’s more likely to consider a failure like that to be unworthy of her attention. And by failing, you failed her. And she would take that offense personally as a direct insult.
I look forward to seeing if you stick to those convictions in the event that there’s a mount reward at the end of the “Deal with Nathanos” pre-patch quest.
Or a specific kill in Doom 2 where you punch a enemies head so hard it goes into their chest
Oh I might love Nathanos but I also know he totally deserves that
So, who hates Nathanos more: Alliance on general principle, or Horde who had to listen to his sneering domineering over and over and over again?
Nathanos is the type of enemy that you love to hate. He’s just charismatic enough to get under your skin, but once he’s gone you’ll feel a loss for it.
Well, if there’s a mount…
For most people, if there was a mount involved, we’d make him warchief.
Exactly what he deserves. What mount will he drop, I wonder… a blighthound? ![]()
I’d rather have his outfit than a mount
Oh, you want to sacrifice all of our people to an old god in an attempt to burn the Alliance to ashes? Do I get a mount?
is that you are Christie Golden
