[Spoilers] Jaina Is Stronger Than Azshara?

Azshara wasn’t a mage, she went directly to Queen. She was too hot for schooling.

New Race incoming… Naga … Leader - Queen Azshara… New class - Sorcerers

Azshara did not go directly from nothing to Queen. She built her own Empire with her own power. She was a mage/sorcerer first, queen second.

When they made her more powerful than arthas i threw in the towel for it making sense. Arthas wasnt a mage but we killed him in a raid but couldnt kill her in bfa raid. The legion was more powerful than azshara so its hard to take her seriously as a threat now after last expansion.

heart of azeroth might’ve had something to do with it.

She’s the Illidan of BfA.

Azshara will help us kill N’zoth. Enough with the redemption stuff. Kill her off please.

Edit: On the other hand maybe this is how the Alliance get High Elves. Yuck.

I’m pretty sure she’s not dead given that she woke back up when the real tentacle monster grabbed her.

jaina had the advantage of being able to freeze the sea around her, she also did leave with somewhat of a scratch

Canonically, did Jaina and the raid actually defeat Aszhara or was it more than mere coincidence that Aszhara fell over as soon as N’Zoth had the power needed to break the chains?

When we were fighting Queen Azshara we took her by consoles to attack her with the charged raw power of a Titan (Azerite), as well as all attacking her simultaneously. And she was holding back, so the grand design of goals (charging up the Main Console) to free N’Zoth would be achieved - pushing pass limits to ensure that desire would be done.

Jaina was giving it her all, was not holding back, and had us in her playing field (Middle of the Ocean) to which she panicked towards (obviously not pushing pass limits) at the end and bailed.
Jaina is powerful yes, but she ain’t no Azshara ~

Your Green Jesus Boi soloed Deathwing with random shots from his voodoo green plastic ball.

I think it’s the Alliance’s turn.

  1. Presumably that was when she had a direct juiceline to the Well of Eternity, which gave her enough mojo to summon Sargeras himself. When we raid her she only has whatever innate power she has, which is obviously still pretty substantial but nowhere near WoA powers.

  2. This is also from the same book where Knaack’s personal avatar went on time travel adventures to show the night elves all of his human potential before humans even existed (and his green buddy cop stabbed Sargie in the face), so canonicity is debatable.

Has anyone asked the question: “if Jaina was more powerful than Azshara, she wouldn’t need us and Lor’themar, correct?”

Considering we gave 100% of our effort attempting to defeat Jaina at Dazar’alor, yet she walked away without any injury…she probably thought we were getting in her way while she fought Azshara.

Illidan can take on Sageras and we kicked his butt.

Well also keep in mind where Azshara’s actual power and attention was in the fight with her. The fight was more of her playing around with the raid compared to fighting them, and her attention was actually on the lock/titan device opening it than on the raid. So how much power do you actually think she used against the raid? I would say maybe 10-15% of her true power, with most of the rest going to powering the titan relic to open it.

Alliance plot armor would be the explanation for the first. Jaina was always intending on getting away anyway. Azshara is arrogant enough to not have an escape plan, but there’s a pretty good chance she was meant to lose, thanks to N’Zoth.

Aszhara is much stronger.

Azshara is manipulating the player into inadvertently freeing N’zoth. We’re fighting to defeat her, she fighting to trick us into do specific things to achieve her goal. I think you can reconcile the difference in how because she’s playing with us. She did ultimately achieve her goal.

She is somehow also harder to kill then a king empowered by a demigod of death.
