Void Elves and Night Warrior Night Elves were more Horrible Fan Fiction than Kul’tiras and the Alliance Story War Campaign. I swear you OP are making the Night Elf Race and its Fans are a great example of why the Alliance Playerbase is how it is.
Besides Jaina Proudmoore was a much better Character than Black Eye Mary Sue Tyrande. I had to beat my head against the Wall everytime I was forced to help a Character that is stupid as Tyrande. I was much better off with helping out the High Elves and Jaina than dealing with such ridiculous forced characters within the Alliance like Tyrande.
I’m just hoping at the end of day for Nathanos or Sylvanas to cut Tyrande’s Ugly Head off and have mercy on Alliance Elves to be Better again instead of this edgy crap within it.
Well at least one act of kindness managed to stop her from flying off on her dragon to burn down a city with innoxents running and dying in the streets…
You mean like she did in Tides of War, Mists of Pandaria, Warcrimes, and Legion? If anything, this is Jaina going back to the character she should have always been, instead of “genocide-happy nutcase who fantasizes about slaughtering children”.
If the Alliance players want a warmonger, you’ve got three great picks in Genn, Alleria, and Tyrande. Likely all three, if they decide to become the instigators of the coming “inside Alliance tensions”.
Did you guys ever consider that part of her hatred for the Horde may have just been her trying to ignore the guilt she had over her father’s death and her doubts with how she dealt with the Sunreaver’s betrayal in Dalaran? She’s made peace with all that and let go of some of her hatred. Combine that with Baine returning her brother to her and it makes sense that she’s open to peace with the Horde again. You guys knew darn well she was never going to stay in vengeance mode when she survived the Horde raid.
Sure, if you consider Daenerys Targaryen a good example of “character development”. They threw out all of Jaina’s original and good characterization, to please the Alliance warmonger PvPers. This is just the writers correcting their mistake.
We’ll see how long that lasts, if this rising racist movement that wants to use him is any indication.
Her son dying will be the thing that makes her act. Sylvanas will kill him, and then she will commit horrific war crimes against the Blood Elves for her son’s “memory”.
Judging by the rather dark and disturbing “the fall of night reveals her true face” prophecy from N’Zoth, Elune will likely go evil, followed swiftly by Tyrande, for vengeance.
Daenerys is meant to go crazy in the books too you know. So the end result is definitely not the problem.
All of Jaina’s naive characterization was what got her in trouble, she learned from that, that’s character growth now she’s regressed.
Still a hippy.
Lol no.
Lol no Blizz has already said they won’t write her anymore.
She wasn’t “naive”, she was entirely correct. Most orcs are closer to Thrall or Saurfang than Garrosh. Her father was also a genocidal wack job that basically started this whole war, or at least planted the seeds of it.
Uh, no, she isn’t. GRRM is against Daenerys going crazy.
That fact that you don’t know what I’m referring to, is evidence that you don’t know the story. Alleria is being set up to go full crazy, as her son is the only “fetter” holding her back from using the Void to commit atrocities. “At the hour of her third death, she will usher in our coming.” and “When the arrow finds it’s mark, the last fetter will fall away.”
Oh, so you’re just blatantly making things up, now? They said no such thing, and you know it.
If most orcs are like Saurfang how come most orcs supported Garrosh when he bombarded Theramore and even went against the rest of the Horde?
It’s not just that anyway , she defused to arm Theramore properly despite Garrosh being a thing, she once again tried peace in Dalaran at all costs which ended up with Garrosh stealing the bell.
Daelin had seen what the orcs did before, they destroyed Stormwind for the lulz, he had a lot of reasons to stop them from spreading and turns out he was right.
No, the story always points out to Daenerys fulfilling her father’s destiny. He’s also the one who told D&D how it ends (though clearly not how they should develop that)
I know abut Alleria and the void, she’s not “holding” because of her son, it was the thought of her son that pulled her back when she was learning about the void, but now she controls it. Now yeah, she can go crazy if he dies in a storyline but that won’t happen in a long while and will be unrelated to the factions.
They literally said that on the interview that’s all over the forums today.
Because most Orcs didn’t support Garrosh? Garrosh’s clique did, and they bullied everyone else into following suite. Blizzard already stated as such.
He was a moron who deserved his death just as much as Garrosh. He was little better than the Orcs on Mannoroth’s Blood.
Wrong. D&D mutilated the story, took major liberties, and had GRRM removed from the writing the team for their own ego, which is why he disavowed the show.
Wrong. She blatantly stated as much in the comic, and has continuously referred to him as her “anchor” keeping her sane.
Sylvanas is likely going to kill him. The words of N’zoth point to this: “When the arrow finds its mark, the last fetter shall fall away.” This would have to be in 8.3, as that is likely where the final Faction battle will take place. It would also make sense, if he is struck down in the heat of battle, or simply for Sylvanas to wound Alleria.
Wrong. They did not say what you said. They said that she got her revenge, which sounds like an attempt at making everyone think they are done with her. You said that they will never write her again, or some such nonsense. They might be done with her for this expansion, or at least until 8.3, or if they reveal some terrible secret behind the “Night Warrior” in a future expansion, but that’s far and away different from never writing Tyrande into the story again.
Sounds exactly like the Horde… Pre-Warcraft, War with the Allaince… Thrall’s Horde, peace with the Alliance, Garrosh’s Horde, War with the Alliance, Voljin’s Horde, Peace, Sylvanas, War with the Alliance…
If anyone is more guilty of not being able to decide to make peace or war, it’s the Horde faction as a whole… they flip flop each expansion it seems and can’t decide if they want to be slaughter, wage war, team up, or make peace with the alliance.
Furthermore, regardless if Jaina wants to murder or make peace with various members of the Horde… she doesn’t lead/rule the Alliance. King Anduin does. While Jaina is does her thing, the Alliance as a whole is still at war with the Horde in the Background…
While it is weird for the tauren to be on the horde, you have to remember that they are not a natural fighter people, they NEEDED the orcs and trolls to survive. they cant just say “sorry, we’re not interested in killing humans anymore”
Everyone wants peace, saying this is a bit meaningless.
Even Sylvanas wants peace. With everyone undead.
Jaina wants peace, yes, but wanting white peace, with pre-war status quo restored, would be ultimate stupidity. It DOES make sense for her to persist in her stance of “dismantle the horde”
Though I doubt blizzard will ever actually explain what alliance characters actually WANT out of this war anyway.
