I think apart from Genn refusing to side with Anduin before the Battle of Darkshore I don’t think we’ve seen anything.
There’s no accounting for what hobbies people become passionate about, and for that I think it’s pretty cool you put this much thought into it…short of calling out others for deliberate cruelty.
You have me for a lot of your suggestions. My unasked for advice: keep writing, only keep a journal. Write your own fan fiction. Sharing here doesn’t help. I wish some suggestions players make would be heard, but who decides what’s representative of what the general player wants.
Go ahead, plant your flag, but in another way.

Yep. I’ve seen people from all sides do this.
And let me tell you this: The Alliance threads and the Horde threads are NOT WRONG.
It is not wrong to be passionate about a game on the game’s forum.
It’s not. But I do find it very nerve-grinding when the same threads are made by the same people over and over. And that seems to be a trend we are seeing a lot.

They don’t hate Night Elves. They just consider everything in the game to be a potential plot device, and don’t understand why people still care about those things.
I do agree with you partly in terms of repetition, but if you read OP’s post, you would find that it’s not a blind raging post but OP’s own effort into sharing his/her thoughts.
This is after all a forum.
You seem to be misunderstanding me then. I didn’t accuse the OP of raging, not once. My initial post was a sarcastic point being made at the plethora of threads I read just like this one, often made in a short span of time.

Ethriel I thought that Tyrande manages to stop Sylvanas’s assault on the PTR? I don’t know though. And I don’t think it’s ever said that night elves are near extinction. Other than that I have no real argument against what you’ve said.

Don’t feel bad about accusing the OP of raging because this is actually what it is. OP is well know for smamming the forum about how blizzard hate the night elf. He used to be know by a other name back then doing exactly what he is doing now until he made a long ‘‘good bye’’ thread about how he couldn’t bare the night elf treatment anymore.
He’s now back using a other alt just to pretend not being the same person and continue to spam the forum using speculation as fact and using negativism to a other level.
Just on the story forum, OP have two of those thread and one of those is the same exactly thread which he duplicate on the GD forum ( which is considered as spamming).
So don’t listen to Dalf when he tried to whitewash OP by giving him more credit than he deserve and trying to make him look more reasonable than he is. OP literally said in one of his thread that the only way he would be happy would be by gaining every land back, having Tyrand to wreck Sylvanas, having every night elf soul to humiliate the Jailor and bringing them back to live.
So basically OP just want the night elf to be the only focus of the dev and be the only one to deal with the shadowland enemy. Anything else is blizzard hating the night elf.

Sylvanas may have ordered the burning of the tree, but the Horde did it.
