You’re welcome, I would have used the word Hypocrisy, but hey, fill yer boots.
FYI - for those that don’t know. This is WHY Baine supports the Alliance.
During the assault on Thunder Bluff, Baine, unable to gather allies within the Horde, decided to ask aid to whom he considered an honorable enemy: Jaina Proudmoore, ruler of Theramore. While in a meeting with Jaina, Baine meets Anduin Wrynn, the heir to the throne of Stormwind. Unlike Varian, Baine warms up to the young Wrynn, who, in an act of friendship, gives the great mace Fearbreaker to Baine. The hammer, one of Magni Bronzebeard’s creations, takes a liking to Baine, steadying its hold on the Tauren. Jaina, moved by the gesture between the tauren and the human, agrees to support Baine on his efforts of taking Thunder Bluff back.
This has created a lasting friendship between Baine and the Alliance, although Baine didn’t feel worthy of wielding the great mace and eventually returned the weapon to Anduin Wrynn.
tl:dr The Horde abandoned the Tauren in their time of need. They stayed loyal, but if they chose not to, anyone would understand it.
I’m honestly so sick of reading all this crap. Can you people grow a personality beyond Sylvanas hatred? Can everyone, on both sides, stop making such useless topics that devolve into a repetitive;
“Sylvanas is (positive remark)”
“No Sylvanas is (negative remark) and you should (some loose idea of how they would kill you, or have you die/leave)”
“I would be happy with a third faction.”
“Good because I want you to go and (either die, or just be away from their perception of Horde)”
“I would if I could.”
“Go die.”
I’m just summing it up of course, but that’s pretty much how I see these threads. Seriously, it’s getting annoying.
The Southern Barrens is a land route to everywhere else. Mulgore is a valley surrounded by mountains with only one way out. So unless you plan to do everything by Zeppelin then you better secure your land route to all other Horde zones.
If the Alliance were wiped out in the Southern Barrens it’s because the Orcs and the Forsaken sent troops in to take it back along with guerrilla tactics from the Tauren that were exiled.
He was not there. You can only speculate if he was there. I have proof of Talanji assisting with incursions, Rexxar, Rokhan, Blightcaller and many others but not Baine. I know exactly where Rokhan, Talanji and Blightcaller were during BfD but Baine, who stayed behind next to his map, was nowhere during the actual raid itself. I can speculate he was there or I can operate off of the factual evidence provided for us and that he was absent.
Some not kid friendly official art of Sylvanas sounds good enough?
Apparently Baine got the message. Now he’s Anduin’s love slave.
Short answer: probably not as long as she exists in WoW.
When I don’t have to see her or hear her name and every single thing she has done to my Horde gone for at least an expac or two yeah
That’s actually completely understandable. If the Horde was abandoning the Taurens to their death, then of course they would seek out those that “would” help them.
That said, both factions tend to be guilty of this at one time or another.
I’m not really sure what your trying to imply here?
You seem lost.
You’re a very short Troll.
How and why would you expect him there?
He barely was taking back his own village in Mulgore.
Maybe if Garrosh or the rest of the Horde sent help he could have taken Thunder Bluff back easily enough to have the resources to do the S. Barrens as well.
We will never know because Garrosh was stupid and didn’t support his allies
I mean, he’s dead. He obviously did SOMETHING wrong. And no, some of us are sick of the same old tired faction war nonsense. Good riddance to Sylvie and her boy toy.
A visiting head of state when two global powers are beginning to negotiate a truce/peace is nothing new, and it doesn’t make that head of state a traitor, lol.
I really hope that was a figure of speech, otherwise you’re taking this faction war a little too seriously and you should probably step back.
It’s the Horde a lot of us want.
Your just saying he’s absent, because you don’t like him, despite you knowing good and well that someone not having the limelight doesn’t mean they aren’t there.
Your being completely disingenous, so at this point, there’s no point in continuing this.
If you are unable to see Baine’s actions as for the betterment of the horde, and attempting to break the cycle of violence and retaliation, then honestly that’s your problem.
Your bias is blatant, and it’s clear your not open to changing your mind.
Good day regardless. Hopefully your bloodthirsty narrow world view doesn’t get you killed one day.
Let the cold war begin!!
You have to remember there are some Alliance who are going to be equally disgusted there is Horde in their capital city. If Blizzard plays their cards right it could get very interesting.
They did send help. The Orcs constructed a fort and sent multiple commanders specifically to take back the Southern Barrens. Sorry, actions speak louder than words and just because Baine only recognizes Jaina’s help doesn’t mean the rest of the Horde wasn’t there.
Also, what you are quoting is in reference to him not being present during defense incursion in Zuldazar and defendinb Dazar’alor during BfD. He wasn’t present for either even though he should’ve been given his role as person standing next to a map.
How is it that he’s the only one not in the limelight then? You’re using this as an excuse. Every other named NPC is present or accounted for during these events except him. So how is it that this only applies to him?
Losing territory is not in the betterment of the Horde. Allowing Alliance to rampage through your areas and doing nothing about it because you fear that they will rampage even more if you do is not for the betterment of the Horde. I know what the Horde should be and it is not Baine. Baine represents a passive Horde that would kneel to the Alliance and obey their every command.
the Blood Elves joined way back in BC. goblins like Bipzi didn’t actually join the Horde until Cataclysm because they were too focused on also being able to openly trade with the alliance because they were neutral. don’t know why you guys think Blood Elves just joined yesterday but they have actually been apart of the horde for the past 12 years
He’s not the only one not in the limelight, again, your being disingenous. But I’m not going to dedicate more time to this. Your blatantly biased, and continue to say the same thing over and over again, because you can’t seem to grasp the idea that there is more than just bloody rampaging and massacring people to trying to deal with problems.
Your mindset is too narrow, and too focused on nothing but killing others.
Baine has the best intentions for the horde in mind. Blood thirsty warmongering and retaliation only invites more bloodthirsty retaliations. Again, if you cannot see that, that’s your problem.
Have a good day though.

Thrall and Anduin were never friends… You’re thinking of Baine who has been going behind the Horde’s back since the days of Garrosh to warn Anduin and the Alliance of Horde actions
Goblins were part of the Horde since the Second war. They may not have been included in the vanilla WoW, neither were ogres despite being in the Horde per lore for a long time.
it may be 12 years to you, that less than the time I spent in my second career years ago.
They should never have been Horde - it was just to add a pretty race to the Horde.
Neither should have the forsaken.
They just had to shove the undead faction in somewhere, and left the horde with the undead and all the disturbing baggage that comes with that.
