He’s stuck in the Maw, we rescue him but alas only our own heroic selves are able to escape. Because reasons. Dramatic ones.

If you want diversity on leadership, the Horde is waiting for us. The Alliance is terribly Humans focused. (That’s why I consider the Horde better than the Alliance.)

I think it might have to do something with Anduin being a wildly unpopular character, I think. Or that could just be my opinion on him. :man_shrugging:

Possibly but we also leave everyone else there too - Jaina, Thrall, Baine and I thought there was someone else but I’m old and forget. I’m still kind of put off by how these powerful leaders are shown as able to strike down a dozen enemies at once… until they accompany you on a quest. Then they hit with all the force of a wet noodle.

I didn’t know that. How crazy would it be if Blizzard just dumped all the main characters in the Maw and forgot about them? lol

Oh don’t worry, you will understand my annoyance my friend.

Anduin: “This barrier will protect you!”

(there is no barrier)

Anduin: “This barrier will protect you!”

(he pops the spell after combat is over)

Yes it would be silly but then it would be in the BfA standard.
I’m not surprised if the blizzard comes with more of this mockery.

After seeing the actions of Xe’ra and Yrell being seen as the will of Light, making the light take on a dictatorial face with tyrannical Light, fel that saves and void with misinterpreted intentions, I would expect Blizzard to decide that the Light is the source of all the bad in warcraft and the void is the good guy.

And we can wait for another alliacne capital to be destroyed by the horde. 25% chance that Ironforge will fall victim this time.
75% chance that the capital of the alliance to be vandalized will be Stormwind like so many in the horde want, to avenge the two sieges in Orgrimmar that never left any damage in their city, and were always organized by horde rebels and not by ally.

To be fair, I wouldn’t want Jaina as a leader anyway, she just seems a bit too unhinged lately, not worth it imo.

“The crown of light sits on a empty throne”- Ilgynoth.

Pretty much the precursor to Turalyon acting as King while Anduin is help captive in ShadowLands.

The part i find interesting about this though, is that Ilgynoth and i presume N’zoth clearly know the future. I suspect we will see N’zoth again in some form, and that everything went as expected in Azeroth.

i feel like we may even side with the Old Gods, or at least wield them one way or another to use against the Light trying to enslave us.

Because we are the ‘chosen ones’. All 1 million+ of us.

He’s a better fit for King than Anduin is at the moment. If war is coming, you want a leader who is knowledgeable in it and compared to Turalyon, Anduin don’t know jack.

Presumably the collision of void and light created everything in the universe. I would assume that would include time. Who knows, maybe time could function differently/be halted by the light. I mean Turaylon is now immortal because of lightforging.

Ya I think he is messing with the void and is in the void currently. He assumes that if elves can master the void, he can also. Who knows?

So… with Anduin gone, Turalyon is going to be the only one the Human portion of the Alliance would listen to with any authority.

Remember, most of Stormwind are either First War survivors, or expatriates of Lordaeron and Stromgarde. Those three groups of humans would not accept Greymane taking over, even as Regent, but would have an immense amount of respect for Turalyon, the General who took up arms after the fall of Anduin Lothar and lead the campaign against Draenor.

As far as other leaders go… Velen wouldn’t take it.
Malfurion didn’t even want to lead his own people for 10,000 years, let alone the Alliance.
Trollbane would be too busing rebuilding Stromgarde after BFA.
Moira would take it in a heartbeat if she could get away with it, but between her Son and balancing the Council of Three Hammers and integrating the Dark Iron into Ironforge she probably can’t.
Mekkatorque isn’t a ruler, despite being “king” of the Mechagnomes now.
Prince Erazmine is too new.

I’d say there may be a succession crises from the Stormwind House of Nobles… but we’ve never actually seen a House of Nobles, so that’s an empty threat.

Ultimately… Turalyon has the experience, the respect of the Human population, and he’s not marred by politics, or a history like Greymane.

That’s true. But it just seems to fishy. I have a feeling they’re going to not like Anduins return and try to cast him out for being too “peaceful” then that’ll start our story on the Alliances first downfall.

Depends if you want spoilers from Shadows Rising.

SR Spoilers

In the book, he is shown to use ‘anything means necessary’ alongside Alleria. To the point that they use both the Light and Void to torture for information on Sylvanas.

Best part, is that Anduin is A OK with this method.

So really, if anyone is to go Deus Vult with the Light, Turalyon is a safe bet.

Except Turyalon isnt racist he actually helped Etrigg out. As well as Anduin may use the light and the void as he is the godly child that can master all things.

And Genn is the king of Gilneanes as to where Turyalon is acting leader of Stormwind.

The light is order the void is chaos both caused creation. Curse of the flesh is a void thing. So we are all children of the void.

I don’t think he did. It was Tirion. Never heard Turalyon helping Etrigg out.

Oh did I get them mixed up.
