Personally I don’t mind slip personality in Orgrimmar, it is easy to evade most of the time, but in Stormwind is a royal pain in the back because of how narrow the streets are.

Yeah i said i can do it because i gain more Memento after the buff so my research tree is better.

Depends on your DPS I guess. If you really want to minimize the impact of split personality you should go in with full CDs and wait for it to proc and then go for the nuke. I always go for that hulk guy in that area first by going up the hill into the area, and then go back and clear out trash that “leads” up to him. Sometimes if I want a CD up for him I’ll spend time clearing that trash out before him.
I’ve pulled off the 5 mask run once for each Vision and I will never do so again.
Not worth the effort.
I guess I just assumed that it was checking the Z axis regardless, but I didn’t know for sure. We all know DH are king of that place though so.

yea, you would think so honestly. that’s why you can crawl under them as well, which is kinda silly. if you stand close to some objects, it will spawn on top of it and you can run under it. I have also had them spawn on a hillside and then have been able to jump over them.
that said, DH make it easy.
The problem is the dude keep moving his goalpost, from Split, to that Hulk boss throwing you while Split is up so nothing he can do about it (but suddenly think DH can jump over that?).
It’s impossible for baddies i agree, baddies would also think Hulk boss is hard.

As i am one of those classes that dont have a leap or an immunity and who clears his 5masks on a weekly basis you need some good old GIT GUD!

Yeah, it’s pretty painful, you can be going along perfectly fine with spare orbs and loads of time and then you get trapped/stunned inside a circle and bad stuff and it’s all over lol
Sometimes it feels like there’s some degree of AI at play with the opening nearly always pointing in a bad direction. It’s doable but once you get it done you don’t feel accomplished or rewarded, you’re just relieved that it’s over so you can go have a cup of tea and calm down

Well the problem with this type of content ends up being that some classes have it easy and some don’t. Just look at mage tower for how grouped classes struggled to varying degrees.
I think the only thing that HV misses the mark is that in general it leans towards melee friendly more than casters ever get to see, DH is just the epitome of that.

I have been full clearing them almost a month before you. I mean, Git gud isn’t the point here. I didn’t fail the run. It’s the general annoyace of the design and the RNG nature of the mechanic and how it interacts with other mechanics.
This isn’t an isolated topic. There have been many others in the same vein. If you enjoy those mechanics, good for you I guess. Nothing wrong with that, but for many, they actually kill some of the enjoyment and honestly break some of the fundamentals of how the game has worked for a long time.

my biggest issue with split personality is that it happens outside combat, whereas a lot of other ones dont
There’s a trick I found for Outlaw rogues with that pack, if you get up on some of the rocks after killing the Elite mindeater bug. If you’re jumping you can angle the grapple to land you right by the door to Rexxar, skipping that last pack.
