Split battlegroup: the community deserves a response

Until a couple of days ago the NA low level battle ground community was happy. We had the largest possible player pool, twink populations on both sides were growing, levelers and twinks alike could get into a game without a long wait, games were good.

Then the NA battlegroup was split in half and our que times were ruined, we were cut off from our friends and rivals, games are almost non existent in off hours where we always had games before.

Why can’t we be like Europe and have BG holidays based on server time? Does blizzard even acknowledge they caused a problem? Does blizzard have anything to say to the hundreds of players who are very upset over this change?

Myself and many others came back to WoW for one reason, to play lower bracket PvP. We were all extremely satisfied until this change. It really benefits no one to piss off this entire community over an issue like time zones. Trust me when I say this community would much rather have no bg holidays forever if you would put our battlegroup back together.

This has been a huge blow to the moral of everyone who has spent many hours in classic preparing for lower level PvP. We deserve some kind of response, it’s very frustrating to not be able to play in off hours, to not see our rivals and friends from other servers and for you to say nothing while we make plea after plea on the forum.

Hard agree. This is utter bullshift.

Nope. They don’t. Using my sub money for toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and sand paper.

I play just to do 29 twinking and havent even been able to get into AB all night. This was a thoughtless change and needs to be reversed to save pre 60 pvp!!!

on west side its like they improved the game quality of BGs drastically by removing faerlina, herod etc. from my game. sorry

The battlegroup split hurts a lot. You have the data blizz, compare average participation and queue times for sub 60 players before and after the split. It’s bad.

I think they secretly acknowledge their mistake. But they would look like even bigger fools if they went ahead and reversed their decision instantly.

I’m pretty sure they’re playing the : oh well it can’t get worse now might as well pretend to not hear the noise as usual

I’m really curious what their thinking is concerning all of this. I’m told by players that have submitted tickets that it’s been conceded that the increase in queue times is unfortunate, but that’s only part of the issue here.

It’s surprising because this is one part of the game where players were actually really happy, and many were planning on playing these low-level BG’s indefinitely. But this change was made with almost no prior notice, out of the blue, and alienated a lot of players.

I’d like for them to acknowledge not just the queue times, but also the communities and friends that were split because of this, and at least consider reverting this change for the sub-60 brackets.

Why did they betray the player base with this? What’s the name of the person at Blizzard responsible for this backstabbing? Do they worship Satan?

they changed it back, but i mean the damage was done, queue time doubled across the board and even reverting it didn’t seem to help

Well to be honest, this game shouldve started off as server-only BGs in the first place.
