I rolled a NE druid on the test server last night for giggles. It was everything, ha ha. Had a long chat in General about how Blizz methodically defaced the game with all of those post WOTLK expansions. I’m really looking forward to this but wondering if they are planning to play out the story line again, which means going down the road to ruin again.

I was Kosh. Used to pvp a bunch and also raided with various guilds.

Oh that’s cool. Yeah, WoTLK was the last expansion to where I was semi-serious playing the game. I came back for MoP for a while but pretty much inactive for the rest. I do agree though, WoTLK was when the game began to falter. WoTLK wasn’t terrible imo, but that’s when Blizzard began to milk down the game and homogenize the classes. TBC was amazing. WoTLK story wise enjoyed. If Blizzard did plan to go down the same story path up until WoTLK (given a few years), I wouldn’t be mad. However, only if they stick to the vanilla blue print in regards to world difficulty and class identity. All classes being utilization specialist killed class identity. Everyone has a form of stun, heals etc. If Blizzard sticks true to that, I’d be very interested to see that.

I’m still deciding whether I’m going to roll Horde or ally. Right now my names are saved on Horde. It’s still subject to change. Do I want full nostalgia or a new experience in vanilla?.. Decisions are hard.

Hi I may be called Gwynner now but this mage was my main on Spirestone back in 2005- 2006 but I went by the name Clinch. I was in a couple of Guilds but I am terrible with names. I do recall the name Drasnith and I remember seeing Shadow Mafia guildies a lot.
