Spend all this time and energy and

less resources on tuning. ez pz.

It’s the tone of the posts. There’s no reason whatsoever for people to constantly rub it in they think solo players don’t play well or don’t play the game the right way or exaggerate when it comes to how lazy people supposedly are.
It won’t make any difference regarding what Blizzard does or doesn’t do just how much someone thinks people aren’t playing right and are asking for freebies.
We all just offer our own opinions and don’t make any decisions regarding game design, so there’s no reason for hate and condescension for either side towards one another.

I never said solo players are bad, I am simply talking about relative of gear progression related to the difficulty of the content youre doing. Should there be difficult solo content in the game, sure would be great. But it’s a very hard thing to bring into the game when competitive mythic raiding is in the mix.

And I wasn’t replying to you with what I originally said, but to the overly cynical comment someone else wrote.
The topic itself has been discussed extensively and both sides have some valid arguments imo. I think op just wants that gear that already is accessible through solo content to be more accessible for people who exclusively do solo content(?)
With respect to gear in general, I don’t think there’s too much wrong with how it is right now when it comes to difficulty of content and what ilvl gear you can get from it.

At what mythic dungeon level do you think pugging a non meta spec/build is the equivalent of mythic raiding?

The problem with all your post is that you think pugging is easy!!

Have you ever queued into a premade in BG that out geared your entire team and thought this is going to be easier than mythic raiding?

You have not, just like every other low iq person on these forums

Make solo queue rewardable for those that solo queue

The Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game awards the best equipment to those who participate in the highest level content that involves teamwork with fellow gamers in a Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game??
Outrageous, quite mad I dare say!

Any dignified individual should be capable of obtaining the best equipment by spearfishing and flying through hoops like a graceful clown of the finest circus!

It makes one quite disgruntled to know that their efforts in climbing rocks to dig at bones is not met with the same reward as defeating Stariza Repulso, Intergalactic Star-Lich through the combined effort of twenty siblings-in-arms!

I am very overwhelmed with sorrow knowing I won’t be granted the ability to wield Honeysuckle’s Spare Planet-Cracker of Soul-Rending by assisting turtles in their efforts to make it to the water instead of assisting comrades in defeating foul villains lurking within wicked corners of the cosmos!

Pickle Weasels
AND I MEAN IT!!

what is this when meta exist? You dont play a role but the one you are told to play

WOW IS A MMO ACTION GAME. You do not choose your role, you are told what to play based on meta. You login into this game to salivate over regurgitating what was fed to you

Now this is quality trolling.

OP opened with probably the vaguest post i’ll read in the month of February 2023 and successfully baited paragraph responses out of multiple people who took the bait.

This is how you troll. Bravo OP

Aye, my dear varlet, that is a fair question to ask in these woeful times.

Are we truly playing at roles if they are assigned to us?

Alas, this question be a complex one full of complications, surely the long journey to find the answer would be perilous just to merely contemplate!

You changed toons but kept the same name somehow

that is trolling.

My post, however, is a legitimate concern about the state of the game.

Lol what…?

Mostly pugged keys up to 2800io on dps specs that aren’t considered meta (Fury / Arms). Haven’t had issues. I’ve run a few keys with guildies but out of the 25 or so +20s I’ve timed at least 20 are full pugs.

all else aside…if hes ‘trolling’ and wasting your time…why did you bother reading or posting?
use the mute.

Gosh. I mean. I had no issue with your post. I speak many many dialects.

but! to me, Gearing at Certain levels means you should be aware of the angle you’re driving at before you shift into a different gear.

A majority of players Vs a small % is Horde Vs. Alliance almost across the server board. Not completely, though, for you fact checkers.

lol…its LITERALLY their foul mouth arrogant “MMO” attitudes that made me hate group content and back away from it in the first place.
Ihave a VERY REactive personality. Im nice…until…lol.
I had to decide to either go solo …or quit playing…or continue with these foul mouthed personalities in game and risk popping a cork on one of them and getting actioned at some point.

I FULLY understand players wanting a solo…and comparably ‘hard’…route to gearing.
What I dont always comprehend is why the end game gear is needed if they arent playing end game, but the OP seems to be referring to being able to gear for PvP without having to run Mythic content, which makes sense if he hates some of these players as much as I have learned to.

but then, if he does, why break from solo play and endure them at all either PvP or PVE ?

Reading some of your posts, I think youre wanting an alternative solo gearing route so you can PvP against player who have run Mythic content and gotten geared there?

I wouldnt expect some in here to get it or want it to happen.
I mean, theyre the same players who only want the 1% seeing end game and raiding at all, lol. Perpetually whimpering about getting rid of LFR so there is no que so they have more control over who gets to see the content like they used to. lol
They’ll fight you on every point on this one, Im sorry to say.
Hopefully Ion starts paying attention and figures out that catering to small groups in an M M O (as they constantly remind us WoW is) is a BAD idea, lmao

This expansion so far has by far and away been the easiest expac to get free gear well above the ilvl you need from casual/solo content. We get weekly chests for free Normal-Heroic pieces that don’t even need you to step into the raid. We had fresh 70 casual Hunters who have never stepped into a raid beyond LFR get free Heroic Raszageth Bow from their weekly chests a few weeks ago lmao

I honestly don’t know what you are really complaining about. If you’re a casual/solo player, you have zero need for 400+ ilvl gear at the moment, and when the time comes for you to need something better, catchup mechanics and new content patches will come to give you more easy obtainable gear to compensate. You complaining about gear you got with zero effort from World Quests not being able to compete with 415+ gear that people had to grind hours upon hours for in Mythic raids and +20 keys on to of needing some amount of skill is frankly delusional.

I more understand the point others made about how the high ilvl crafted pieces are also restricted by materials you need to raid to get consistently but that just rolls back to the point of “why do you need 415 embellished crafted gear as a solo player”

If you do want to take the time to get better gear, the paths to gearing are pretty open and clear they just require a bit of studying mechanics and watching a few videos depending on how much deeper you plan to go into those paths. LFR raiding is a queue away, and even if you have no idea what you’re doing you can usually be carried through with some difficulty by the other 35+ people. Boom 385+ ilvl gear + guaranteed weekly Vault loot right there. Don’t like raid environment? Queues too long for you? You can Mythic+ instead! If you’re new and inexperienced, just start at low keys and work your way up as you gear and learn more mechanics!

I’m glad the game is adding more comeback mechanics, I genuinely love the weekly chests for raid gear even as a raider myself bc my roll rng has been abysmal this expac so I’ll gladly play the chest slot machine for a guaranteed chance at SOMETHING!

Also, if you really want to try Normal+ raiding with no experience and only prog-level ilvl then do some studying online, read the dungeon guide for all the raid bosses at the difficulty you want to persue, and host your own groups! It’s daunting at first, you’re gonna feel inadequate at first, and you will 100% wipe many many times for various reasons. Over time though you will build your confidence, you will learn how to keep track of things, organize groups, better explain and handle mechanics to your group, etc. and boom even better gear! Plus Raidleaders with a little experience and a really good sense of faking it till you make it get a hidden ilvl discount when it comes to progging certain fights haha. I’ve been doing this since Legion, and I have AOTC from every raid tier I actively played during including the AOTC mounts (only missed BFA’s because I hated the expac and stopped playing before even second raid came out and came back near the end of Shadowlands) and am currently 7/8 H in VoI entirely through leading pugs.

If you want better gear, you gotta do the harder content man. None of the players you’re complaining about losing to in PVP or whatever with Mythic 415 ilvl gear got that way through lack of serious effort and commitment

Let’s cut to the chase - what item level do you want to reach with solo shuffle?

Bro, that person is like 418 ilevel and killed Raz on heroic three times.

The hell you smokin’?
