Spec-Locked Poisons Make No Sense

It never made any sense to me why any poison we have should be locked away behind a specific specialization. I get that Assassination is the poison-oriented spec so it has the most options, but that identity shouldn’t come at the cost of shortchanging the other two specs. It’s time to remove the restrictions and let us pick whichever of the available poisons we want, regardless of which spec we choose to play.

The important poisons are cross spec: Wound, Mind-numbing, Crippling, Atrophic.

Deadly and Amp are the only ones not actually cross spec. And they are not that potent without the necessary abilities and passives that exist in the Assassination spec. I wouldn’t be upset if other Rogue specs got them I just don’t think people in those specs would really use them that much.

Outlaw might like having a DoT in some PvP instances I guess?

Yeeeaaah but spending talent points to get stuff we could just make and use back in the day is da poop. I don’t think the moon would fall if they were all baseline. Maybe I’m just old school and nobody cares about this sort of thing anymore but I like having options.
