When launching the game after putting the folder into wow classic. I have seen screen shots of a button being present for addons/interface options for classic ( this is before the login screen). I do not see this?

Just leave it on your desktop for now, you can put the folder in when you log in on launch day or the stress test on the 8th.
I was at the previous stress test so have this path, perhaps you do too.
C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft_classic_\Interface\AddOns
Still, just keep it on your desktop for now , its easier access and less hastle imo.
Pulling aggro just shows everyone how strong you are.
Tank just has to taunt back!

In Twitch, I was able to get the Mod drop down menu configured to show ā_retail_ā and ā_classic_ā options for WoW, so I can now install addons for each version separately.
But does anyone know if thereās a way to search for addons specifically for Classic WoW in Twitch?
You can filter by version in Curse and I imagine if you use the Twitch clients find new addons while in classic mode it will only show you addons compatible with classic.
Just be aware, some jackwad thinks his MythicStone addon is classic compatible. So just ignore that one.
The official Vanilla experience was tons of addons, ones that could do far more than the current Retail addons can do. Stuff like Decursive which was hit a single button to automatically remove debuffs from raid members.
Not using addons is actually going against what most people did during Vanilla.

I will be, with an Energy Bar for my Rogue, or a Caster Bar accounting for latency if I play Lock/Shaman.
Ever single player should have a CC Duration and Cooldown Tracker soā¦problem?

Being spammed by addon UI errors is part of the Vanilla experience! They would choose the most inopportune times to crop up as well.
There are new additions on these websites you might want to look at for fun, updates too.
Canāt wait to install Addons for Classic just like we did with Vanilla WoW. Addons make the game better and Iām looking forward to the authentic experience.

There are a few yes.
We had a big post on here during the first or second stress test were people were porting over addons for Classic and had some up and running.

If you go to wowinterface link, on the right side is a long section on whats been recently updated ( many on the 4th) Yes they were written by beta testers and from then on the API is known by the Authors. This makes total sense. Read their forums if you need more documentation.
Now about Twitch, I keep checking and so far only 4 of the addons i have in my folder show up on Twitch.
Again I am guessing they are waiting for launch or need launch or whatever to get up and running.
Im not worried in the slightest and manually replacing addons that have been updated is not a mental stretch for me.

pfUI is like ElvUI which is a branch off of Tukui
The ElvUi contributors are dragging their feet, much like Gumdrops is for TSM. They donāt have a desire to play classic so it will be up to other team members, for ElvUI at least, to update. TSM, who knows if we will ever see some of the features.
TukUi, however, is updated and being actively worked on
pfUI is a Shagu addon and as far as a I know Shagu announced he wasnt going to make addons for the new Classic.

and yes it is simialar, ElvUI is beloved by many and this TukUI is the grandfather of that.
