Speak up now

For some reason blizzard only does tuning 1-2 weeks after a patch then never do anything until the next.

If you want changes speak up now before we are stuck with it until 9.2.

For me i just want rdruid nerfs
Windwalker damage is pretty dumb too

LMAO they were supposed to do class tuning/change with 9.1.5 and they didnt do any. So if you have hope idk what to tell you at this point.

Kaleiki also said in an interview when he left blizzard that you can’t just ask for ‘‘NERF X SPEC’’ They need to be pointed what is the actual problem with the spec, and they’ll decide what tuning change needs to happen by themselve

Idk, they’re banning people until February for spam if you make even one “Nerf WW” thread. Silencing our voices.

@Warcraftdevs with actual evidence/footage if you want anyone to even bat an eye.

Random nerf X here doesn’t do anything

Mud for world of Warcraft community council.

i applied buddy

What’s more incredible is how the playerbase has to do the tuning for the developers.

All those memes “do the devs even play their own game” isn’t a meme. It’s reality. The game developers DO NOT play their own game. Otherwise why would they rely on feedback 99% of the time? Isn’t it THEIR job to test the game? If not the developers, aren’t their people you hire to test the game? If not, aren’t there forums of thousands of people testing the game? If not, isn’t there a new community council comin
oh wait

Anyways this is how its been the past few years:

  1. Design poor content
  2. Have players tell you for months why said content is poor
  3. Fix poor content

Instead of:

  1. Design good content
  2. Everyone enjoys

This is a poor outlook on balancing & development.

You should never release content and expect it to be 100% perfect. E.g. BFA & Shadowlands.

You should ALWAYS be looking for feedback from the consumers to see what needs to evolve. The issue is that even with feedback they do nothing about it lmao.

No thats what the playerbase has been accustomed to. They’ve grown used to it to the point where they are convinced “devs need us to balance their game for them”.

There’s a difference between looking for feedback every now and then, and solely depending on feedback to fix an entire expansion. Look at 9.1.5 its basically the shadowlands BETA feedback forums summed up in a patch.

You are trying to put a blanket statement on a problem that stems from a game where it can’t be balanced.

It’s impossible to balance this game, and having the devs play the game doesn’t fix it because the problems come from diversity in the game to how they impact the game. It’s much easier to balance in League because of the small amounts of things you need to look at, thus Riot doesn’t need to get feedback.

WoW has so much stuff in it that if you just slightly overtune x thing, it can throw everything out of whack.

It has, and always will be, a game that requires player feedback to create a good game. Devs can’t solve it without us, and unfortunately, they still can’t solve it with us because they don’t listen.

Honestly 8.3 was one of the best patches WoW has ever seen. BFA had huge problems but that was just pure fun.

Oh I agree, I loved 8.3 just from a gamestate perspective. But I also enjoy long dampener games.

Let me play WWLS pls

Anybody who’s played this game long enough knows there’s really no such thing as true balance. Up to this point it’s been anecdotal, considering the most balanced season of all time still won’t equate to 100% equal footing amongst every player. All you can do is compare to the season you assume was the best. There will never be 100% balance and that doesn’t even affect how fun the game is (believe it or not).

Either way that’s besides the point. I wasn’t talking about just “class balancing”. I only used it as an example considering thats what this thread is about. I’m talking about enjoying the game. You’d think that in 2021 after over 15 years of trial and error they’d know better than to solely depend on player feedback from BETA to design content that their playerbase can have fun doing for months at a time.

Back on topic - why Spriest?

And why Ret, aren’t they really only oppressive with Banner?

Enjoying the game is different for everyone though. Again devs playing solves nothing. Communities will play to farm, others play to RP, others play to be degens, raid, M+, arena, RBGs/BGs, just have a place to talk to, etc

Them playing solves nothing, the game, class balancing or not included in this, requires the community to report back to our lords above and pray for salvation.

As for above comment.
Spri is just toxic. Greater Fade just needs a nerf and it’s fine.
Rets on the other hand are just annoying. Purely annoying, nothing else. But this is also bias because ret has always countered WW, so 9 years of that toxic matchup definently has me filtered against them.
