They aren’t ending support yet, but they are ending development of all new pet battle content. And they might be killing all the pet battle addons which they definitely won’t provide in game replacements for if they do. So the statement isn’t too far off, tbh.

Lol. There are so many mounts, pets and armor sets in this game that you need something WAY cooler than these recolours to make other people jealous, if that’s what you actually want to do for some strange reason. 
No, they’re going to iterate on it into something more engaging than it is now. It’s not getting the Archaeology treatment. Midnight isn’t launching with new pet battles, but they do plan on creating something. And all old content will still exist.

We already knew this; they removed wild pet battles in Midnight, which is a new iteration on obtaining pets. That’s it! There’s nothing else in that post related to what you said. So why are you making this unfounded claim?
