Blizzard- [Fractured Spark of Omens] (S1) and [Spark of Omens] S1 are not able to be destroyed, vendored, or gotten rid of by any means. Please allow the destruction of these items. I, simply, just cannot.

Pretty good point. One can technically place work orders for any item, even if they can’t equip them. I have a recipe or two across my professions that I still haven’t first-crafted.
Crappy part is the S1 sparks still require valorstones to combine, which I won’t be spending after the wipe already occurred. Have to see which characters already had combined ones.
Which will be a problem for uncombined fragments. Which brings it back to the original bug report, because those can’t be worked around by crafting.
They do not. They are tooltipped at 0 to combine.
I’ve gotten 3 catch-up s1 sparks while doing undermine world stuff yesterday, so I don’t think you’re supposed to be left off with a half spark
