I dont see any world where void shift even in pve needs to be 10 minutes and/or not useable in pvp.
we literally are gonna go a whole expansion almost not using the spell as a SP. I feel like this should be address
also considering that a lot of thing are reverted before last patch idk why we want to overlook this especially in pvp where your counterpart can use it in arena but you cant.
like bringing it back for the early season then obviously change it at last patch content would be great.
or could we be given a reason why there wont be a change to it would be helpful

Void shift should not be reverted for pvp period. It was gutted for good reason.

This are some of the stuff why I think a pvp balance should be done alongside a pve one.
idk much about shamans but I think fire ele should be dropped in arenas.
And yes Void Shift right now as it is it’s the most useless ability in the game. At least Fire ele you can use it in duels but Void Shift no lmao
In fact I can see PvEers crying that their shadow priests are ruining their parses by killing them swapping hp.
This spell has way more value and is less toxic in a PvP environment than in a PvE one.
That literally my entire point SP can’t use it at all… because of the 10 minute cool down
Earlier seasons you could because it was 5 minutes…
So I’m saying with your logic fire ele should go to 10 minute cool down… for and I quote “good reason”

New spell for the expansion and youll never use it womp womp. I agree that early season or 2 should have it and revert it to 10min when it happens in the original. Melee dominated early seasons and spriest has half their original survival toolkit lol.
Disc and Holy still can use it in arena. Just not shadow. Super cool lvl 87 spell doesnt leave my spell book. Feels bad.
We arent on last patch balance for EVERYTHING so why not include this? SP isnt some S tier spec in pvp and is tunneled all game nearly as much as Rsham.
Im biased, but regardless of balance (which would be fine either way) it feels bad not getting to use this spell again. Was a large part of mop spriest memories.

Pretty much this.
Spriest got INSANE nerfs during 5.2 and more in 5.4 and we are getting all those nerfs at 5.0 without any imporvement.
Spriest was remembered a great pvp class in MoP because people got to experience the class prior to the huge nerfs.
Players now are different on how they played back in OG Mop, they are better, so most of those nerfs are no justified anymore.
We get things like Mass dispel no longer removing Ice block or Shield, Shadowform no longer reducing 15% of all incoming dmg and our heals nerfed to the ground in 5.0
