Knahaten Flu was only like…what 20 years prior to ESO? I say there could still be Lilmothiit around at this point in smaller numbers around Blackrose, that’s what I say!
They actually have concept art for the Lilmothiit, they keep almost being a thing.
I actually went and looked it up. at the time of ESO there are still Fox people around Blackrose according to some lore books but they fade from history after that and are thought to be extinct as they are never seen again.
If they happen, it’s going to be a polymorph. Zenimax is not adding another race, but they’ve been open to RP cosmetics. Even when those RP tools are really bad. The maormer skin is a, ahem, slap to the gils.
If ESO took place much later I’d say it could never happen but the timeline would allow them if Zenimax ever had the courage to add more races.
I really wish we’d get more races in that game. Folks keep saying it’s because Elder Scrolls never adds more playable races but
a) the other games are not MMORPGs
b) Yeah they do, just not for a while. Imperials and Orcs were later additions.
Something something parts of ESO are Dragon Breaks who knows.
I hear you completely. They have amazing race models in the game that I would not even care about slipping Todd $15 to unlock. It’s not like mainline TES games don’t have entire catalogues of custom races.
