After I was able to log in after today’s maintenance, my sound has been incredibly glitchy. There is this weird lag and flanging effect that happens, mostly when casting spells or during spoken dialogue. On my Death Knight, Death and Decay sounds like a bunch of bad 90’s robot laser sounds.
When the sounds start decaying, I will get video lag as well.
This only happens in WoW, and only after today’s maintenance. I have rebooted, updated, and cleared the litany of things you will inevitably ask me to do, to no avail.
I won’t go so far as to say it is unplayable, but it is definitely not enjoyable in this state.
