Soulkeeper stealth nerfed?

Hopefully i’m not losing my mind here but I swear up until… well, like 30 mins ago, I could cast Summon Soulkeeper on the move. It was my favorite part about the spell, I’d use it as my mobility uptime mechanic.

But now the cast will interrupt on movement.

Edit:
Patchnotes came out like 10 mins after I made this thread. Sadly it was changed.

  • Warlock
    • The following spells are no longer usable while silenced: Call Fel Lord, Demonic Strength, Guillotine, Inquisitor’s Gaze, Shadowflame, Soulburn, Soul Strike, Soul Swap, and Soul Tap.
    • Summon Soulkeeper is no longer castable while moving and can now be interrupted.
    • Fel Domination and Soul Strike are now classified as Shadow magic.
    • Dimensional Rift and Summon Soulkeeper are now classified as Chaos magic.
    • Burning Rush and Summon Infernal are now classified as Fire magic.
    • Guillotine and Inquisitor’s Gaze are now classified as Shadowflame magic.

You’ve never been able to cast it while moving.

Just wondering, what do you get out of lying? Or are you just ignorant of the ability?

It was very recently hotfixed to be interruptible and not able to be cast while moving.

Yes. Yes you have.

In fact I just found the Hotfix patch note for it from a blog posted 51 minutes ago. I caught it about 10 mins prior to the blog.

This is what happens when “balance” is left to gamers who solely play melee classes. The devs arent playing the same game anymore.

Its all about big numbers and big plays zipping around with infinite charges, gap closers and interrupts making the life of anyone hard casting misserable. Spacial awareness isnt for everyone, when one fails to recognize theyve been hit with a spell that likely took 3-5 seconds to hard cast at them while they were busy mashing buttons tunneling a healer, they become the thing everyone hates. Devs.

It really is world of meleecraft right now.

What I don’t understand is why it is apparently extremely offensive for a caster to get a hard cast CC off, or to be able to cast anything at all. But it’s perfectly acceptable for melee to kill the same caster within the duration of their instant-cast cc’s (stuns etc).

And in the rare case your caster survives the intial burst, it’s absolutely unacceptable if the melee cannot maintain 100% uptime on the caster through the use of their multiple gap closers etc
