Wonder if there are any scholars of nourish in the chat. Here’s what I’m finding:
Nourish is based on a priority queue: Rejuv > Germination (if talented) > Lifebloom > Regrowth > Wild Growth.
This means that it applies the greatest HoT which isn’t currently active on the target.
When soul of the forest is active:
- If nourish applies rejuv or germination, the rejuv is buffed by sotf and sotf is used up.
- If nourish applies regrowth, the regrowth HoT is buffed and sotf is used up.
- If nourish applies wild growth, wild growth is buffed (by 75%, not 200%!), and sotf is used up.
- If lifebloom is applied by nourish, sotf remains. It will also strip lifebloom off a different target if it needs to.
In particular, the direct heal of nourish is never buffed by sotf.
Without spirit of preservation, the direct heal from nourish is double the direct heal of regrowth. With spirit of preservation the direct heal is only about 5k more than the direct heal of regrowth, and if you have rank 3 regrowth should be a crit.
Say you’re on your last leg in dampening and you have one more innervate to use. If healing a target being trained by a melee cleave with overgrowth on cd, it seems like
Nourish -> Nourish -> Nourish -> swiftmend -> regrowth -> Nourish
would be the optimal healing throughput if talented into germination. Anyone have any healing optimizations to correct or share here?
