Yes World of Warctaft. I cheated on you and I owe you an Apology. I cheated on you with several other games but please don’t blame me. This is clearly your fault. Let’s be honest here. You are not in the shape you used to once be in, you are old and not nearly as attractive as some of the younger games.
I mean just look how much prettier they are! Not only that sometimes they actually listen to me, I know it’s probably a sign of your age and you are simply going deaf but I can’t help but feel more wanted and needed when I am heard. Besides the age thing you are always being dishonest with me. You tell me that my clothing should be easy to know which is better because it is newer but I am sorry my old shirt just seems to do the job better.
I am sorry I cheated on you though, but trust me. It’s you not me.

No gaming is mainstream now. Playing WoW is not. We went from niche of niche to just regular niche though which is nice. But we’re still the weirdos that addictively play a fantasy flavored casino slot machine 24/7.

That’s probably why I still feel embarrassed telling new dates that I play WoW. I feel the need to insult the game when I bring it up. “Still playing stupid WoW after all these years.”
But even though every one of these guys have been nerds, a surprisingly small number of them have tried this game before. They’ve all heard of it, but only a few played it.
And people think I am mean for cheating on WoW. You gone and called your game Stupid. That is just abusive.
It already hates me anyway.
Yeah if you tell people you play god of war no one cares. Tell people you play WoW and they assume you live in a basement or have some sort of other issues. It’s the MMO stigma.

Im not discriminating… I’d probably think you were creepy in some ways too given the chance to read more of your thoughts. 
I was good to WoW for a good five years. Never once strayed during those first five years together. I am surely not alone on being committed to WoW at one point or another.
This whole cheating thing is weird to me. It’s perfectly normal to play a variety of different games. You don’t just read one book ever. You don’t just watch one tv show ever. Why do you think you are supposed to just play one game?
WoW and I are more like long-term on-again-off-again FWB.

Pretty expensive FWB. I put thousands into WoW. Then it broke my heart.
