I for one am hoping that we wake up in some dank cavern learning that we were defeated by N’zoth and crossing the veil was a fever dream.
If they do that I might actually go back and play Shadowlands rather than staring at it like something stuck to my shoe.

2 New Continents with 9 zones total
Customizable Garrisons that can be based in different zones.
There will also be punch and pie.

I think the general consensus from everything I’ve heard has been “back home”. Whether we go someplace from there or whether something comes to us? Remains to be seen.

I mean Philly was great and all, if we just removed all the people. There’s a reason I moved to Southern California, it’s about as far away as I can get besides Alaska(…and believe me, that’s still on my list)

There have been a lot of theories on this, but the general player sentiment seems to be, “I just wanna go back home on Azeroth. I don’t wanna deal with these cosmic forces anymore. I just wanna be a citizen of Azeroth again.”
There’s still so many loose ends or unsatisfactory resolutions to revisit (such as the remaining Night Elves after the burning of Teldrasil).
We’ve already visited Death (Shadowlands), Fel (Burning Legion), Arcane (Titans), and Nature/Life (Emerald Dream/Ardenweald?). There might still be room to explore Void (Void Lords) despite having apparently resolved the Black Empire in BFA. Light (Naaru, etc) are the only remaining faction to explore as a potential “enemy”.

My guess is the Dragon Isles where a buncha spooky Old God stuff happens, with maybe a backdrop of other cosmic forces like Yrel and her lightbound crusade showing up, or Muezhala breaking free of bwonsamdi and taking control of the blood trolls so we have excuses to go to older zones.

There isn’t really any troll content in this expansion, so I’m guessing it will be a troll heavy expansion.
