Because this version of AV has downsides for both factions. Alliance don’t win so they stop playing which increases horde queue times. It’s a lose/lose situation.
It’s just comical when players think one side is “concerned” while failing to see the “concern” coming from their own side.
As far as horde or alliance apathy, there are years of AV history to refute that. Horde rolled over for alliance in AV for years while blaming the map. Neither side can take the high road here.
No one is “concerned” about the other side. Alliance going “but think of the queue times!” are 100% being facetious and its the go-too fallback for anything involved in AV discussions.
100% it always ends in “Enjoy those queue times!” like its an insult or something.
The point is no one really cares…so why are we pretending here?
We’re all stuck in meta hell and everyone else is just along for the ride. No one faction is driving this - its a collective failure of the playerbase as a whole.
AV map imbalances and whatever other kook bing bang nonsense you can make up is just how we are choosing to deal with the current sh-tuation. Its easier than looking in the mirror.
Premades in AV are the #1 reason they got broken to begin with, the second breaking of premades was a slap from blizzard saying “you did this to yourself, we aren’t allowing a work around”
What did premades do you ask?
AV premades would leave the game dead if they didn’t get enough of their friends in the match, resulting in games starting with 5-20 alliance vs 40 horde.
And if they did get enough of their friends in? They abused the report player function to force out pugs to get their friends in.
This is what lead to blizzard breaking premades in AV, the horde cries were only drowned out by the cries of alliance pugs being abused by premades by starting dead games because half their team left because not enough of the premade got into the game, or from being forcebly logged off and kicked from the game and the BG by falsified mass reports of 30+ premade players.
I’m not even sure what point you’re trying to make or if you have one, but the comment I quoted was a player claiming alliance seemed concerned about something he fully knows they are not. It would be no different then me responding to one of the hundred of horde responses with the proper strategy alliance should play to win. “You seem awfully concerned about alliance winning” knowing full well they aren’t.
This, AV alliance lose AV because of their players, not the map, the map is a minor factor compared to the “strategy” used by most alliance, which has been “farm rep till lose”. For months now.
