i have everything so i guess that confirms it. ive got no gear, just these garbage gifts
I had all the mounts and pets since last week now…still haven’t had one of those mounts to give away yet to drop for me…

you advertise in trade chat, then have someone pay, and use it on their opposite faction character… can add on btag to make it easier
Haha. Maybe I should look into that. After someone gifted me my first Ally mount, I stared just giving all mine away in groupfinder for free.
I thought it might have been a treasure goblin pet thing…where the first day they were selling for 20k and after the first day it was impossible to give them away for free as everyone had it already haha
I’ve just been throwing them at whoever is nearby and of the opposite faction, and doesn’t have it already.

Have you ever considered just because you want things easy mode others don’t. It may surprise you but some people like the challenge that comes from getting the more difficult reps.
chromie daily for 30 rep is absurdly low. You get around 500 every hour of event

i used to think that way until i have been playing side by side with my wife. im a beta player. my wife got in around dragon soul cata. i am a rabid completionist, at least i used to be. i would go out of my way and drop a mil on a pattern i will never use just because i didnt have it. i am not much like this anymore and i think it is because of my wife.
i am grinding out soridormi rep as well and i am around 12k out of 18k and i missed the entire 1st week of it. my wife did a few rifts here and there, got the items she thought looked good, the mounts and pets and that’s that.
i see it differently now and i dont think “new” players see it like us old school players do. there is nothing for being maxed with her other than that completionist feeling players like us will get. newer players got nothing compared to people that have been here 10+ years and they dont care for something so mundane such as this soridormi rep grind that rewards nothing other than 10 achievement points and a title.
and if i have to be honest these are the types of things that keep old school players like myself invested and online. just like the paragon rep bags of xpacs past that would have low drop chance mounts in them. as much as players would complain about it and then blizzard eventually stopped it, i enjoyed it. it kept me active with something to work towards. much like this rep. i want that title and my measly 10 points. but from my perspective and seeing how my wife feels about it, she dont care about that title, she got her few mounts and pets she wanted and i believe the same can be said for new players.

I have played 14 years and I still play like your wife does. It never ceases to amaze me when people try to speak for new players like they play just like they do.

Just a follow up: thank you again for the heads up on the elites for the furbolg rep. Was much faster than the non-elites just S of the camp!

I also got done with the exalted grind last night and I 1000% agree with your points. The rep was abysmal as hell. Some tasks taking 2-4 minutes for 20 rep, while a single “kill x mob for a 90 seconds” in comparison nets people roughly 40-50 rep for that period. Absolutely abysmal, so glad I never have to go back there.
It absolutely needs to be easier for the grind, at the very least a bump to rep gained across the board.

showing up for time rifts takes no effort. log out at the spot. every hour, log in. afk until the rift opens. run in and tag the boss. leave the rift. log out. repeat an hour later.
that’s not what i do personally, but it’s perfectly doable and it’s hardly work.
No it really doesn’t. It’s very easy. Come back after you grind Vanilla Timbermaw and let me know how bad Soridormi is.

No one is holding anything over your head. It’s a comparison. This rep is very easy and fast. Many reps in the past took months and months to get. One rep takes a few weeks and people get grumpy.

What are these “rifts” you speak of? I don’t think I have done even one of them. lol
I would say Rajani is the worst. Still need the pet from Paragon bag because it takes like 3 months … MONTHS … to earn a Paragon chest. >((
Siodormi isn’t the “worst grind”, only because it’s so accessible. That you can farm it EVERY HOUR makes it super easy, actually. It’s just… NOT FUN if you do that.
This new Blizzard sure can pump out content, it’s just that 70-80% of it isn’t much fun.
Can you even imagine trying to do any of this/Siodormi once it’s “old” content?? I guess all we have to do is look at Forgotten Reach.
