Before the “nerf”, it was KC and Bomb. Now that they got Carve buffed, it’s the third.

I’m in the uncap all AoE again camp. Or at least just give it all a soft cap. You want to load up dungeons with eleventy billion trash mobs at least let us group it all up and burn it down.

at first i legit just wanted to see his build because my hunter is 283, but the more i thought about it the more unlikely that this run happened in the first place

I find it funny how KC feels more broken on Surv than it does on BM despite BM being the pet spec.

Ive seen monks beat them.
There’s just so many things wrong with what he’s claiming he doesn’t even realize it.
I just wanna see the run link to the run on rio, but of course he did it on a “different” character than this one he posted on. Coincidentally he’s not surv he’s a different hunter spec, surprise surprise.

Monks can beat anyone when CD’s are up but in between they’re not great and maxing AoE takes a bit of setup. I think Survival is more consistent outside of Wild Spirits/CA with a far easier rotation.
Both are solid in keys though. I enjoy them equally though being melee in M+ is usually a PITA.
TBH when I’m MM I usually end up basically tying with survival hunters around my ilvl. Depends on the dungeon though, there’s a few where I exclusively play as MM and others exclusively as surv.
Where have you been? Survival has been S tier for a minute.
Why do you think it’s a lie? Destro locks were pulling close to 40k overall in some cases last patch at ilvl 280. Survival is also a meta spec with uncapped aoe, I’d say it’s reasonable as long as you pull a lot.
If you think about it, they nerf survival and the meta will prob just be Mage/Lock/Monk or Rogue with a Dk/Priest.
Not sure if you’re wanting nerfs so other hunter specs will become meta, but really that’ll just push hunter out altogether.
