caster gear will be much harder to replace, which like i’ve been saying is a large part of why they underperform in BFD. there just isn’t enough gear options until 60.

nah corpsemaker is super easy to get and is one of the most ideally designed 2hs in the game. real shame they dangled it 4 levels in front of us.
We didn’t replace our Naxx40 gear until SSC/TK at the earliest.
We didn’t replace our Sunwell gear until Naxx25.
Let’s not act like this is new. Greens didn’t replace raid gear until Cataclysm.

and this was because of new expansion power creep as well. everything in BFD so far has just vanilla appropriate, just better itemized than OG stuff.

Not really. There’s plenty of leveling gear I didn’t replace for a very long time during Classic.
So…you’re saying any version of WoW that happens to use the classic_ABCD.exe is automatically “Classic”. Even if said WoW has Wrath and Cata, plus a few others (Homunculus) that I don’t recognize, is still ‘Classic’.
Yo, Blizzard, you here that? All you need to do to save Retail is rename ‘wow.exe’ to ‘classic_retail.exe’ and everyone from Classic will totes jump back in the abyss.
none of the epic weapons get replaced early. the sword can get replaced by the whirl wind axe. but to be honest the WW axe isnt even much better and it requires a large time sync of farming you wont get it at 30 unless you buy the mats.
no, they would have to make retail use the classic client as well, like SoD does
There’s literally a guide on how to do it at 30 with throwing weapons and crossing the river back and forth. So yes, people will be solo’ing it at 30.

They fixed that in HC to not be possible and my assumption was that same fix would apply here. It would be interesting if it is still possible though.
