I lost my grandma last year, two days before Christmas. Was super close to her and this song came on the radio as we were cleaning up the house on Christmas morning. Hit me pretty hard…

It’s a song in an anime called “Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day”
I would recommend anyone to go and watch it. It’s the best tear jerker in anime I’ve seen. Both Dub and Sub put their best in the voice acting and you can’t go wrong with either.

This. Every time. It goes from melancholy to a celebration, with all the emotions in between. Especially when you realize why it was created.

I wanted to play the guitar but never could make the faces and the head movements. You have to look like someone is crushing your nuts and you are in agony.
Hate growing older, so this does it. No sad events, or sad lyrics. Just reminds me those times I had when younger are gone and I’m older now. Yeah I know, 
really weak thing but whatever

That actually made me feel close to tearing up, even without making any connection to the movie. There are a few classical songs that do that to me.
This is the last song Warren Zevon recorded before he died of cancer. He made it for his wife that he was leaving behind. Such a beautiful song.
