Something wrong with me?

So last few days I was only able to log in in the morning and play for 2-3 hours. It’s quite time, not too many people online so it’s difficult to find a group for a dungeon, specially on the horde side of Heartseeker.

So I do quests and farm a bit. When I get ganked by allies I can’t fight (meaning much higher level or a group) I res and run if I can; if I can’t run I die and res again. Trying to escape is the strategy that pays off when odds are stacked against me.

Today I’m the morning I happen to quest in tamarins and was 3/4 to turn in the turtle escort quest when a pally 6 lvl higher attacked me and was able to kill me after some of my fears were resisted.
I used soul stone and finished him off at 15%. I proceeded to corpse camp him afterwards for about 3-4 times before he logged off.
I felt very good and accomplished not only because I dominated a bully who is much higher level but also because he was geared and seemed skillful in pvp and I was able to defend myself and ruin his day.

Unfortunately it was already starting to get crowded in pvp areas so I logged of because it’s difficult to fight off these days. I did get half a level to ding at 47 and enjoyed a few quests I did and took in the beauty of the world once more

So here is the thing: I didn’t feel compelled to go to a forum and cry about everyone trying to gank me; or I didn’t seem to find it logical to look for a conspiracy theory why it’s difficult to find a group on a minority faction or blizzard taking over the world by stealing the joy of playing WoW.
I just logged in, played a bit, had fun playing and logged off
Is there something wrong with me?

You were attacked 1v1 mate in a situation where you had a reasonable chance to survive. Paladins are literally the worst class to try and gank someone with in this entire game and quite frankly it’s not even close.

Yes, you did come to the forums to make a complaining about complainers thread. Although you never said it, that’s really what this thread is.

That’s fine. It’s only one of 10 situations where I could prevail. The rest is about 10+lvl killing me and I have to move on and accept the fact that this game entails corpse runs once in a while

He is no more a bully than any other player attacking another player on PVP server, if the are lower lvl or fighting a mob or not at full health. Does that make the others bullies? Perhaps. However, that is par for the course.

Hey guys, pvp happened on a pvp server and i won. Am i not great at pvp?

People read between the lines too much:) it’s all on the serface :slight_smile: he tryed to bully me, that’s why he is a bully in my eyes because he thought he was stronger and got a good lesson :slight_smile: that’s all I said :slight_smile:

All I said is that it is par for the course, and it is.

I tend to leave people alone that are trying to get poor tooga back to his wife with dinner.

fake story, paladin can bubble hearth at 50+, no pally is gonna get camped to the point of quitting

He used all cooldowns during initial attack and died afterwards. He then tryed using it on his 3rd or 4th res and died again. He quit right after

I was running through Elwynn Forest to some wizard tower to get schooled in the art of enchanting and a Defias chick stabbed with a dagger so I killed her.

I think one of my favorite fights I watched while stealthed was Pally vs Warrior in their 50s.

I know for a fact a Horde rogue was watching, too.

The memory will stick out for two reasons:

  1. Faerlina does have honorable players in pockets;
  2. Pally vs Warrior is just funny.

Why not log this level 60 in your quest area, when someone ganks you log on him and smash his face in. Soon they will realize its you!
