If the majority arenāt playing, and the minority (RMT/Cheating) is now the majority, then that makes it rampant.
But also people are just making excuses for why theyāre bad.
But then wouldnāt all of the people leftover (not RMTing,cheating,etc), whoās running into all of them, have their own evidence?
Not just those who can only parrot streamers and link whatās happening to a very small subsection of the game at the top end.
Maybe the ones complaining about RMT are the ones being RMTed and losing because better RMT beats worse RMT.

I mean streamers and what not are a very small minority, and they tend to not have the interests/attention of the majority of people. They just say and do what gets them the most views, but are completely different people when the camera is off.

Nah genuinely think theyāve give up on banning anyone for cheating, etc etc.
Thereās an enhance bot on the ladder at around 2.5-2.6? Every game I play into his turbo, he lands a kick every 14 seconds, on whomevers casting. Ends the game with 20+ kicks every game. Etc, etc. Heās been playing for 5-6 seasons I think?

Definitely not fun to see what seems like endless hackers in your lobbies with no end in sight, but as far as I understand it, botting/scripting cheats or whatever are constantly evolving and blizzard has to also constantly evolve to combat them.
Pretty sure the only way to hard-stop most of it is to put Valorant level kernel anti-cheat on our PCs. At this point I wouldnāt even care honestly.
Or just stop doing the automated ban stuff and get actual humans to review these things again. Most casters probably que into that team and know the enhance is kickbotting. Iāve played against Saul/Ron and neither of them landed nearly that amount of kicks.

Banning accounts on a case by case basis is a gigantic undertaking. I think itās one of those situations where people think itās way easier than it actually is.

For example, you can buy a cronus for CoD or other FPS games. It attaches externally to your monitor and there is another component that people are somehow soldering in to their controllers. Iād say that cheating is actually worse in fps games than others rn simply because you canāt really control the mechanism from inside the game.
