I think something went wrong when Blizzard decided to Nerf tanks to make Healers more meaningful.

Now that attention has been drawn to it they’re going to hit Tank and DPS self heals more.
I don’t think that they can. If they nerf Brewmaster for example, you might as well delete it.
If you nerf Blood DK healing, might as well recreate the spec.
Guardian? Yeah, too strong, could use some nerfs to be brought in line with other tanks.
The biggest problem I see are damage dealer’s healing (and capacity to instant heal) and the personal cooldowns.
I fail to see the issue here. If talented, coordinated players want to try keys without a healer, so be it. Nothing should change based off an anomaly in the data.
Most groups aren’t gonna pull this off.
Five classes each with self healing abilities are able to offset having a healer by playing very well together.

You really fail to see the issue.
Hybrids have to have decent healing or else it’s pointless. They are sacrificing DPS time and resources to heal, seems like an OK trade-off to me.

Good. I’ve sat at over 600k hps on raid trash pulls over a minute long and I don’t even ms prot. Healing ought to be the healers job, I shouldn’t be ahead of them.

I do feel the same. There have been times I am drinking my Brew like no tomorrow.
This videos are mostly bait. Sure it’s doable with really people knowing what they are doing but as “bulletproof” of X or Y is bad and there needs changing is a bad example.
This better not result in nerfs to self heals / hybrid classes who can support their party. This isn’t representative of how most people play.
This is like -THE- definition of a non-issue.
All of those dps specs have strong off-healing. Which is why you’re not going to see people doing this as like…mages, hunters, and rogues.
On my windwalker every 10 seconds I get a an instant cast heal that does 600k, on my enh shaman I can trade off doing 2m damage to heal myself for 1m. In no way is melee off healing an issue.
It sounds you pretty regularly play with bad healers, tbh.
I don’t really see this as a problem, and I’m enjoying healing right now. Some organized groups will be capable of this. Most people will not.
