Can someone explain this too me? MW doing 36k DPS in Solo Shuffle and it heals their allies? I am pretty confused how that is balanced. Asked the team to maybe focus the MW since they are supposed to be squishy but he just didnt die? What is this?
Fistweaver heals by meleeing. Don’t fight them in their ley lines since it makes their blackout kick AoE which in turns increases the chance they reset their Rising Sun Kick and massively increase their heals.
They are very vulnerable to CC, especially since they have to get into melee to heal, so either hard stun them and kill them or use soft CC to stop them from doing damage. They heal for 150% of the damage they deal with most abilities.
Just don’t let them hit you, they have trash mobility.
WHAT? 150%??? thats absolutely insane compared to atonement healing. I get it being Melee Range but does that really matter when A Priest cant get away from a Melee DPS to save their life to begin with?
It’s melee range and the rest of their heals sucks because they don’t take many talents that boost enveloping/renewing/soothing mist.
If it didn’t do 150% it would be completely unviable to play anything other than channeling soothing mist 24/7.
Disc gets to have both their heals in full and their atonement healing.
I would say atonement needs a major buff but fistweaver is only dangerous to those who don’t know how to fight them.

I dont know I am looking at a Log right now and Ancient teachings did the Same healing as all of the Disc Heals combined. How is it that damage that in not interruptable gets to heal for 150%? Like Average atonement healing was 1.8k and average Ancient Teachings healing was 15k. Ancient teachings did 1.4m Healing while our Disc Atonement did 251k 151 Hits on atonement compared to 96 hits on Ancient Teachings and in order to even get off damage that generates high healing numbers Disc has to cast Mind Blast or Mindgames to do 1/2 the healing of a RSK? OR the same as a BOK? What??? How does that make any sense at all? I say this honestly asking how this makes sense? Disc can be just as easily stunned as the MW in most cases and is not hard to CC.
Genuinely just think this is overtuned.
It’s definitely overtuned but it’s balanced because of how squishy they are. You can DPS 40 yards away meanwhile the squishiest healer has to be in melee range
This was determined to be false in cases where you want your team to live. and my team went the MW the MW did not seem squishy at all outside of maybe in a Stun other than they they were immortal

It’s not overtuned, you just have zug zug melees thinking it’s smart to attack the healer that heals by punching people.
Just like how silly it is for DPS to attack a disc that uses Catharsis.
So let me get this right the healer just isnt an option for melee to attack and you think thats not overtuned? While Disc waddle around the map getting trained by melee without a chance in the world of being able to get out of range of them? Trying to keep up atonement so they can get heals off for 12k While a Single RSK gets to heal for 50k+? Thats not overtuned?
I think this forum has officially whined about every healer in the game this expansion. We’ve gone full circle. I miss the prevoker complaints
I wish melees would zug zug on my disc priest, nothing easier to heal than two melees sitting on me as a disc. They just feed my Catharsis and give me an opportunity to slam them for 80k instant.
And the monk is an option, just lure them away from their Transcendence and use a hard stun and global them because all they can do is a poo poo revival every billion years while stunned.
PVokers are for sure annoying but they just kinda seem like the DH of healers so what can you do?
you need to go watch the discpline priest one shot builds that people are using right now.
MW doenst have a 1 shot like disc does.

Yeah well that’s not really a problem is it? generally you may get one melee that can stick to you all game and kick anything valuable you are going to cast sun and make you fall behind in healing? Once again I am saying that FWeaver is not an option for Melee isnt that what you just said?
Even if a Disc 1 shot build existed your talking about something that maybe works at sub 1k Rating.
There’s 3 people on the other side in a Solo shuffle, you don’t have to go for the monk if your comp doesn’t work on that.
Yes and that means that the monk is free to just continue healing while doing 36k DPS Thats the whole point. Outside of doing any CC set up you would do on any other player in the game.
At best this MW Melee CD should last a short time to give them a DPS window. Not make them basically a DPS character for the entirety of the Arena Match. Then there woul;d be understandable counterplay where you see them use a CD that gives them great melee damage and you act to stop them then by CCing. Like PI or anything similar.
Once again I just think its pretty overtuned in comparison to Atonement healing. Seems pretty dumb.
