Someone explain dh's

Game just needs to be reverted to if you get stunned behind a pillar by yourself you just die.

DH leech needs to be reduced, blur CD increased, leech on AoE needs to be reduced to per number of targets hit since half their damage abilities are aoe by default. One of them being a crit on every hit.

I mean honestly, this quote right here is all I need to demonstrate that you do not have the grasp of big brain DH gameplay that you think you do, to be so qualified as to speak the way you do.

“Casters can still kill me in the air if I rain from above against a caster comp for literally NO reason! That’s balanced, right?!”

This is a strawman. I’m not trying to posture myself on the authority on anything. I am trying to be an enthusiastic player giving suggestions that I, from my experience, think could help the class feel less silly to play against. You are arguing that I am doing something I am not trying to do, and make my points invalid based on this fallacious argument.

I play demon hunter because I like the fantasy. I really liked WC3, and the demon hunter units, and I’ve wanted them to be a thing since tBC. I am upset that Blizzard missed the mark so hard on it.

Why is it a BAD THING that I’m giving suggestions to make the class more engaging to play, and at the same time less frustrating to play against?

Again, I think you just don’t want it to exist, which is unfair to people who DO like it, and will never, ever happen.

I like the class. I don’t want it to be WoD demonology because people don’t like it, nyeh nyeh nyeh. Furthermore, I don’t see EITHER of you giving constructive criticism besides trash it, it’s stupid.

My suggestions would accomplish several things, and are within the scope of a major content patch. If you have better ideas beyond fk them demon hunter players, stupid @$$holes, then I would GLADLY talk to you about them! I think giving genuine feedback and discussion on the topic is leagues better than just b!tching about it, honestly.

this was the most ‘is he having a stroke’ post so far in 2019

Oh I see what the problem is. You think devs read the arena forums for suggestions on how to improve the game, and think that you’re speaking to an invisible audience of developers, not to a disgruntled forum of arena players.

Clown world.

ya you kinda were tho

Do you have a single constructive thing to say?

What I said is objective truth, and I still admitted that the class needs changes, once again, in the SAME post you’re quoting.

Sure.
Your mog sucks.

You are literally not worth talking to. If your argument is “kill the class, fk em” then there’s nothing I can say to you that would be meaningful or constructive.

I hope you have a more fun time in the game, I truly do. Unironically, because BfA has been a clown fiesta from beginning until now, and I understand why you’re angry.

Yes, when I say that the DH class is so simplistic and has so few buttons that it’s a regular occurence for a DH to accidentally immune a CC or accidentally overlap their short CD defensive that is also an offensive ability and that this leads to a problem where you can barely tell the difference between a skill floor and skill capped DH, this obviously means that I think the class should just be deleted from the game.

That is definitely not hyperbole on your part.

I’m absolutely totally not making the argument that the scope of changes needed to integrate DHs into the game properly is simply a LOOOOT more than the small changes you think would improve the situation.

When I say that DHs need a complete overhaul from the ground up and the introduction of more abilities along with the removal of certain ability concepts, it is very rational to assume that what I really mean is DELETE ALL DEMON HUNTERS OORAH BURN THE FEL TREE.

c l o w n w o r l d

Well major class overhauls are not within the scope of a content patch. So what would you rather have happen, they sit on their hands like they’re doing now and let it fester?

Scorched earth policy doesn’t help anyone dude, I think several class’ fanbases know that by now.

Also the barrage of ad hominems make it even harder to take this discussion seriously. I’m not trying to attack you. I understand why it is frustrating to play against a demon hunter.

Major class overhauls are within the scope of an expansion release, and I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but BFA is effectively over and done with from a pvp perspective. It’s been a year since the last real shakeup.

You truly don’t seem to understand the context of arena forum posts at all. This is not a forum for constructive feedback to the developers, because there is an implicit policy not to pay attention to this forum.

Nobody cares if you can’t take the discussion seriously. You’re already taking it more seriously than anyone else, because you don’t understand the context of this place in which you are posting.

When I insult your mog, I absolutely am attacking you, just to be clear. I am from an RP server as well and I take my transmog and visual character concepts very, very seriously. I cannot abide an opinionated elf player, let alone a DH player, who can’t mog good.

You goofy.

Scabs when you gonna break 2.1k in BGs again? We’re all rootin’ for ya!

prob the first season of next expac to get my welfare enchant and return to the wpvp dream again :sunglasses:
jk, they’ll forget the enchant again but not even bother hotfixing it in this time

best of luck! you could do it this season t… oh… my condolences

What the hell does this even mean? In what post have you even insulted my transmog?

I was more referring you to insisting on calling me a clown.

And no, we’re several months if not a year away from another expansion release. They’ll probably say something about it in a month? But it probably won’t be features, it’ll just be an overview.

What would you rather happen, me tell Blizzard that it’s a-ok that this all is going down? Do nothing and not give my opinion on things I’ve observed? Sit back and watch people call for trashing a class that I like to play?

I like this game, and I like to talk about this game. I don’t know why that warrants attacking me personally (calling me a clown etc), instead of giving discussion back. Maybe I expected more from the forums, silly me.

You mean the current season where filling a yolo team on Horde takes about an hour followed by a half hour queue time?

Nah dawg, I’m good with developing that wpvp clout :sunglasses:

I’ve insulted your mog in two seperate posts now. You obviously skim-read looking for things to respond to.

I called the world a clown world. I called you goofy. Not everyone with natural goofiness is cut out for the cut-throat business of clownery.

You really, really, really do not have your finger on the pulse of the concerns of the pvp community if you think anyone has even the slightest hope of a shakeup to the meta within BFA.

Sweetie, you’re not telling Blizzard anything. Blizzard will not read a single post you have made here. This is the arena forums. You are not doing anything but shouting words into the void with the rest of us. Context and place, friendroid.

Maybe you’re not aware of your own inherent condescending tone as “someone that actually plays both classes”
:upside_down_face:

I mean his mog isn’t too terrible but nelfs are super cringe

I like some of the personalities I see around these parts and I like seeing discussion. I like pondering things, and I like it when people get along.

I don’t like blowing chunks all over communities I’m a part of. I do my best, and sometimes fail, at comprehending things, or staying logical instead of letting my emotions take hold of what I want to say on these posts.

So, I’m sorry if it’s been perceived that I’m trying to attack you, or posture, or anything. I just want to talk, and learn, and offer as unbiased of an alternative perspective that I can. And when I learn that I’m being illogical, or I’ve missed the mark, I redact my statement in a further post, recognize my error, apologize for it, and try to improve!

You’re right though, I shouldn’t be expecting anything to change this patch. And also, I’m bad at transmogging rogues; and I also didn’t see you trash my mog, because I got heated, I guess. I’m sorry.

Her mog was about the best I could muster with the gear I’ve had drop from legacy raids, and yeah I made a mistake playing Alliance I think. Most of my characters are Horde. I wanted to play a nelf for the shadowmeld, but I haven’t played her in approaching a week and I don’t think I’m going to continue. I have an eye on a priest now, and my demon hunter. I’m not sure what else I’d play.

As the Horde winner of the second round of the transmog competition for the Emerald Dream End of Summer festival, I think I am well qualified to state that that elf’s mog is below even the standards of a disposable NPC.
