A guy in my guild on server 3 got the arena master already, and he got 9 chests at once! Just kept having different people invite him to a group. This is ridiculous, first of all, blizzard said layering would only be in the starting zones, why is this even happening? They clearly lied and this type of bs ruins the integrity of the game.

They said sharding on the starting zones, not layering.
Why would they fix it for zones we really don’t need to be in for the stress test?

Yes, but they never said that layering was going to be only implemented on starting zones.

sharding was the starting zones. They changed their minds.
It’s now layering for the entire game…all zones.

I was in Brill, lots of people 20+ talking in /say. Some guy running asking to people to join his guild. Fun times.
5 mins I run to undercity to learn profession come back to a brill with 3 people in it. I hate w/e this is its ruining the experiance for me.

All in all, even thought this is only a stress test this is still concerning. They should only let you interact with mobs and at least only let you loot items marked as quest objetive while on a layer that isn’t yours.
I hope they implement something like that.

In the beta?.
I had a strong feeling Blizzard weren’t going to fix this. If I were them, I would be VERY careful with this release. I think this will make or break the future of their company. World of Warcraft might continue to keep them floating for the next 5 years, but it will probably continue to die. Releasing WoW Classic successfully will bring back old fans (myself included), but if they fail by not listening to us telling them there is an iceberg ahead, steer away and they keep going and hit it, I’m sure that will be the final chance many people give them.

Bug Report: Dear Blizzard, layering is in the game. This is clearly a bug, as it didn’t exist in vanilla. Please fix this posthaste.
