If they mattered to me I would tell them this game is 20 yrs old. Ran by a greedy “do the bare minimum” company. Unfortunately they missed the train when it was something huge. I would encourage them to play another game and keep and eye and ear out for the next big MMORPG.

Hit the target dummy when you have down time and work on your rotation.
The player is more important than the class/spec.
It’s also more important to be likeable than good, you can improve on the gameplay but you personality will be more important.
Whether you like the race or not, about 95% of Pandaren players are really nice and will always help you if you ask.

If you push a button every GCD you’ll probably do more DPS than what you’re doing now.
Playing bear means you’re staring at big bear butt 80% of the time.
Stare at your WeakAuras instead!!!
20 years and this is what I got out of it: Don’t stand in the fire!
didn’t pick NE because of their Racial abilities I just didn’t like the way the other races looked (sounds racists lol).
Tauren and HM Tauren are too bulky for my likes, Troll and ZTrolls are also pretty mid, Kul Tiran has the same problem as Taurens… so it was between Worgen and NE so I just flipped a coin
