Some WoD Crafted Armor Sets and Weapons Unobtainable in Shadowlands

Not really, they have not fixed it yet

Awesome! I wouldnt have minded but WoD is when armor started getting good with the new textures and models.

Thanks for mocking us who try avoid spoilers and miss things.
I care about Tmog - but I never suspect things to randomly disappear so I do not check for that specifically.

Good on you that you do, but please; Do not mock those of us who are not reading every tiny bit of text in EVERY build released.
Thank you.

Thank you for reply and for noticing our concern. I hope this will be solved sooner than later and that this Future Patch is not too far off. :white_flower:

Not mocking, just stating the facts.
If its something you care about enough to be upset with a change to, you will want to pay more attention!

That’s what the beta is for. They make changes, we give feedback, and further changes are again made.

Its not something everyone participates in of course, but if you are willingly opting out, you must also be willing to opt out of outrage afterwards.
Or at least admit that its an overreaction when it happens!

The only embarrassment here is you.

They should have delayed the game.

Ouch, good one.

Doesn’t make you seem like an entitled brat at all.

Thank you !

It is mocking. and it’s not a fact.
We care a lot about it and still don’t "spyglass"read through beta changes, cause we do not assume they will make bad changes like REMOVING things without making a HUGE fuss about it (like brutosaur).

I’m not sure where you get this “opt out” or whatever from, I never said I would quit the game cause of this one thing…???

I have said; they make changes that make me sad, Things that are unecessary, bad, bugged, removed without a word, etc…

Necroing to reply to this particular post, sorry not sorry.

The developers are choosing to get rid of these profession items so that they can reintroduce the appearances in a future patch? I hate to say it but this translates to me as: “They chose to cut corners and want to make it seem like they aren’t rehashing old appearances later.”

There is no other reason why the developers can’t simply revert the change for crafters.

Worse yet, they probably aren’t even going to reuse ALL of the appearances; there’s a lot of them that are going away. Two versions with their own color palettes for each armor type. Plus weapons.

This is worse than arbitrary; it’s absurd.

To be fair, looks like a majority if not all of them are BOE, and unless you’re on a low pop server and the AH is empty you can just go buy all ofem now for tmog

Every upgraded piece is 40k a pop on my server. Because draenor crafting materials are still on daily resets, it’s impossible to make everything before prepatch.

This doesn’t take away from how the development choice is absolutely absurd, either.

This is pretty vague.

Considering that is their job, yes. But ofc expecting a complete game from blizzard now days is expecting far too much.

I think it’s too silly to remove a skin that was only just introduced in WoD, since we can still get skin for TBC and Cataclysm crafted stuff.

so any updates on those tmogs?

This, the mail icon on log-in screen, endless amount of bugs, bad scaling…
Waddup, dudes?
Are we all forgotten, we who care about these things?

Not sure of the other things but I read the mail icon was causing a lot of tech issues so they had to leave it out.

It wasn’t causing a lot of tech issues really. It wasn’t working 100% - as in; not always showing up.
They CBA’d to figure it out and put it on the “Maybe another day”-pile.

It’s basically the same as when they said “Technical limitations” on being able to apply corruption to previously cleansed gear…
Then outcry --> Oh now it apparently is possible, 2 weeks later!

Resources / Effort = Nah, not unless it nets us a 400% profit (100% is way too little).

I don’t even think i look at my character screen long enough to notice if there is a mail icon or not lol.

as for the tmogs, he did say “future patch” of which we have not had one yet and 9.0.5 seems like a system fix patch for SL, which is far more important than tmogs
