I guess that they have forgotten and i will not hold my breath about it: Blizzard has a history to delete old content, very rarely restoring some.

This is a really unpleasant discovery to make today, finding out itâs been over a year since they were removed without warning and a promise was made to reintroduce them in a patch that has yet to arrive. Please just restore the items as they were, Blizzard. Keep this thread alive and keep reminding them that they have taken UNIQUE items from the game that had a single source, and said they were to be restored, but have yet to do so.
When is this patch coming? Which one will it be included in? It wasnât 9.1.5, we know that now.

Takes Blizz less than 48 hours to âfixâ basically anything that makes gearing or grinding rep a little easier. Over a year later and they still havenât bothered fixing actual problems that they caused in the first place relating to profession qol and xmog.

Itâs nice they cut down on the grind, for sure, especially for alts. But yeah a lot of people are wanting models for transmog and itâs not addressed. There always appears to be very poor communication between Blizzard and its community, and not understanding what some of their players want.
Some of their efforts still fall short, though. Iâve been torturing myself with the Path of Ascension this past week, and âDefeat Mad Mortimer as Mikanikosâ is still glaring at me for the Disciple of Humility challenge. I canât find anyone reporting clearing that boss without glitching him out. The flat 20% bonus in 9.1.5 to make it easier is a step in the right direction there but it still falls short for particular fights that I am certain no one cleared legitimately prior. Iâm not sure if anyone has cleared it legitimately today, even with the buffs, frankly. Obvious lack of play testing.
Any movement on this, Blizzard?
I would love to see an official update.

Temporary I can live with.
I dont know how many transmog/collectible items have been removed from the game over the years but is it possible to consider a vendor, even with a separate currency we grind, that can be implemented to not only get the previously and currently permanently removed items but also situations like this?
Instead of having to get them back in the game through whatever means was there previously the team could transfer them to said vendor? Would this provide a more simplified solution to problems like this for both Blizzard and players?

I looked it up, and apparently is was neither confirmed nor denied that theyâd return in the future.
I guess I was just remembering incorrectly.
Really hope we eventually see them come back though. I chose the Hippogryph back when it was current, and totally regret that decision now. If only I knew they were going to recolor it 5000 times later onâŠ
