Just wanted to raise some more awareness and pool together some ideas about which talents are currently non- or partially- functional. I’ve reported these bugs during beta in-game and on the forums, but there hasn’t been any resolution
Some that I know about:
Diabolic Ritual (Diabolist hero tree) sometimes is consumed to halve the cast time of Hand of Gul’dan, but no summon appears. I’m not sure if it’s specific to a certain demon, but I’ve definitely seen the Overlord Pit Lord fail to appear.
Shared Fate (Soul Harvester) often does not trigger at all on enemy death. The talent it replaced, Soul Flame from Affliction, was pretty useful and easy to understand, because if you did any damage to the mob, it would proc its effect. Some easy ways to test this is when insta-killing a low level mob, but it happens in high level content, too.

I was able to reproduce the Demonic Art bug regularly by casting Rain of Fire at max range on the target dummies. Not sure what exactly is causing the bug, but I think it has to do with no target being in range at the time of the buff being consumed (the effective range of Rain of Fire is slightly greater than the max range of your targeted spells).
As described above, the proc is wasted and no demon is summoned. Tried with all 3 different demons, and all failed on various occasions.
Through my testing I also found that the Overlord deals no damage to the cleave dummies.
ive had a similar bug with the pit lord, very rarely he’s popped out and just idled instead of attacking enemies. emphasis on rarely. its only happened to me like twice.
Sometimes the Overlord will spawn, charge to a mob, and then cancel the slam animation over and over until he expires. You do not have to change targets for this to occur either. I had it happen more than once with the huge beetle looking mobs in Azj-Kahet.
If Ruination is cast while targeting a mob and that mob dies before it lands, it can result in the Ruination meteor doing zero damage.
Also, not a bug, but ruination during a havoc window feels kinda bad since it replaces Chaos Bolt. I know it hits hard, just kinda awkward.
The one with overlord seems to me is happening because the devs for some strange reason gave overlord a cast time on that cleave which I don’t understand.
We spent casting to get those procs why put another casting mechanic on a melee pet ability.
As for soul harvester, they need to really fix it before next week. Especially with mythic + releasing soon and that where the biggest use to me is going for it. Especially with the mob density in the those other dungeons in the rotation from bfa.
