That’s why I didn’t put my ally on Bene. I have no interest in playing horde on a boring fake PVP server, not of my choosing mind you, and also having my alliance on a boring fake PVP server (oh but I could get groups while feeling like everyone is a stranger who I will never see again due to there being way too many people exactly like on Retail - nope I like PVP and outnumbering makes for bad PVP, people who want this are PVE players at the core who only want instanced PVP when they choose and they need to admit that to themselves).
jeez people. way to miss the point. i play alliance and horde. my issue is that population is still completely unregulated. alliance will have issues in SOM too. are you all looking forward to paying to leave your established server communities and join one of the two mega servers? or do you want to play on a dead server?
horde is dominate in TBC, yet my horde server kurinaxx isn’t even on ironforge.pro anymore because it reports 0 population. there are like 10 people online sometimes. everyone went to whitemane.
To be fair, anyone who intends to raid should be Alliance unless you’re incredibly hardcore and know exactly what you’re getting into. Casual Horde simply can’t raid this season.
There’s a very good reason the populations are so skewed this season
It’s always a dice roll my dude. That’s the best answer anyone can honestly give you ATM even if you look at discords etc. There’s only’s one big guild who can just start a train reaction.
As for people QQing about Wpvp in classic, and the servers. I’ll tell you the same thing i told everyone else, why not just play on Grob? we were mega balanced till i think phase 6?
Grobbulus is a good server, it just needs more horde who like PVP and can be respectful of RPers.
I thought about checking Grobb out for a bit but enjoyed Earthfury over a 2 year period. Now that Earthfury isn’t as good (although it’s fine as a horde raider, it’s just boring for wpvp) I’ve looked into Grobb more seriously and agree with you.
The problem is now, is transfers. Which was a problem back in the day but much more so now, Thoguh i don’t play there anymore myself since i quit BC. But in Classic for example It was always a very bloody slog for both sides evenly matched honestly, even when the massive WPVP guild Hurricane quit out mass guilds war over BRM with both sides winning or losing was common.
Sorry but ur statement of horde being wimps is semi inaccurate. The fact is both factions on pvp servers are wimps and need to be the majority faction to feel good.
Also please stop using phase 2 as a crutch for this kind of argument yes it was horrible that it was a blood bath but there was pvp servers that had more alliance that was doing the same thing to the horde.
Lastly if u try to dispute that both factions are wimps on just take a look at the free transfers being offered in tbcc almost every server is a pvp server because both factions abandoned them to create 99% mega faction pvp servers.
