SoM leveling is too slow for the faster pace

Honestly, if you can actually get clear of the zerg to do some quests, the levels almost fly by a bit too fast.

I got 1.5 levels in just over 3 hours tonight @48… that’s massively faster than my normal pace for that range…I didn’t notice the pace differential that much in the earlier levels, but ~42+ it’s felt much much faster than normal (or I should say much faster than I was expecting the +40% quest XP to be)…

Honestly, the only reason I’m not already 60 on my new character is because I’ve been doing significant amounts of pvp to keep pace with the whole ranking thing.

It’s never easy at launches, mostly because of other people being in the way and taking spawns and whatnot, but I think you’ll be very surprised at what your /played ends up being when you do hit 60. This is going by much faster than you think.

It’s at best 20% faster, let’s not exaggerate.

Imagine trying to claim leveling in vanilla wow is about getting good yikes. It’s just about throwing time at it.

using your time as efficiently as possible is a matter of skill, yes.

also, plenty of people here are so bad at questing that they literally think there are levels where there are no quests to be done, and you must grind mobs… lol

The only reason to grind mobs in SoM is to get mats like cloth, leather, etc. Grinding is actually inefficient now.

Guild I’m in has like 25 60s and 10 more in the 58-59 range lol
